Nox, you said you don't trace or use AI. I publicly ask to record a video of your monitor with all layers visible of you drawing. Use all the references you like, but keep your word and don't use AI or trace.

🚨 PSA: TO THE HL Community. You’ve Been Paying for Stolen Images FROM GISELSANN

I need to bring attention to something serious regarding Giselsann’s commissions.

They have been selling artwork that directly uses copyrighted background images they do not hold commercial rights to. When asked, they publicly admitted that they didn’t have rights and that the images were simply sent by clients as “references.”

Cropping or pasting stock photos without a license does not count as reference…it’s copyright infringement.

After I called this out, the original post was deleted. But since this has been an ongoing pattern in their work for more than a year, I felt it necessary to share the screenshots and original sources here. This is not a one-off mistake…it’s repeated behavior.

For context: according to their current price sheet, clients are being charged an additional $18 for what amounts to cropped, unlicensed images passed off as part of “original” artwork. That means buyers in the HL community have unknowingly been paying for stolen content.

Attached are the receipts, including the conversation and the original image sources.

This isn’t about drama. It’s about protecting the community, artists, and clients. Please be aware of where your money is going…

Not a fan of tracing other's artwork, but you very clearly trace, use AI and lie about it, so perhaps get out of your glass house before throwing this stone of a call-out?
