Not in particular? I would say every part of this system somehow believes in staying alive which is certainly something. Considering…

I suppose everyone here finds some comfort in togetherness and love- no matter what kind. We all strive for whatever happiness means to each individual part.

And we believe in being honest and understanding of others, even if they don’t/can’t understand us.

hey when you have a fictive from a source thats still ongoing do they change at all or anything? just curious

Short answer: No.

Long answer:

At least for us personally, once a fictive is in the system they change and grow from lived experience, not from media doing something extra or new with them.

Think of it as plucking a character from their timeline and plopping them into your inner world with you. They’re not suddenly going to have experiences from a new source. I would count that as a separate fictive entirely if that were the case.

Instead they experience life through you and can even become completely different from the very first time they’re discovered. I think it’s unfair to think a fictive stays frozen in time.

Not impossible! Just not fair to compartmentalize.

the ending fight between morph and logan, while it hurts from a shipping perspective, also just doesn’t really make sense as a platonic one either?

one of the things that TAS hammered home about WAS how important morph was to logan. they literally mention it in this episode! morph was the only one logan truly liked at the beginning of TAS, and was in canon said to be the only one who could make him laugh. logan ditched the xmen time and time again to try to find morph once he realized they were alive! hell, logan almost left the xmen because of scotts treatment of morph!

the fact that xmen 97 for some reason has tried to paint the obvious care - and yes, love - between the 2 of them as one-sided from morph is ridiculous. even if its not a romantic love, logan still loves morph!!!

morph should not have to change into jean fucking grey for logan to snap out of it. that is logans best friend and that SHOULD mean something

My honest reaction to episode 5

Fucked me up so bad dude. I'm still recovering..

Logan pissing me off this episode. And yeah i know that was the point. Showing how selfish he is and not even telling Morph (who is his friend btw!) the real reason why they were there in the first place. And also sidelining them and brushing the off the entire episode.

To morph they felt like Logan didn't care about them at all which makes me so freaking sad, cause as they said. When he learned that Morph was alive Logan traveled far and fought to bring them back. To help save them. But not they feel like maybe they were reading into it too much.. Maybe he doesn't care after all. GAHHH crying my gay little heart out!

Also, I am so tired of the jean and Logan bullshit guys. Even if it's not gonna be Morph, this man needs to move on. Jean is happily married and i even thought he'd kinda accepted it in the last season when she kissed him and he pulled away. But also like, if he were to find someone new there is someone very grey and spapeshiftery here who cares about him wholeheartedly!! Romantic? yes sure, but also platonically as a friend and as a person! Morph cares so much for him and knows he can be more than just the animal with claws. They've seen it.

I need Logan to wake the hell up man. No matter if he loves them or not he should still treat them like a friend. Like a person he wants around. Kicking his ass i swear.

Anyways. probably will be doodling them more wither in angst or fluff cause my spark has been ignited again.

Generation 6 needs to do two things.

1. Not be connected to G4 in any way. I think that the connection definitely played a part in the short lifespan of Generation 5 along with

2. Prioritizing the merch. Generation 5 failed because the merch was not good. There wasn't much variety and in a toy based franchise. Lack of variety could kill you.

Of course I also want the media to be good. That goes without saying.

MLP means a lot to so many people. I hope this generation can continue the legacy.
