No they said they didn't show it because she never gets a happy ending cuz none of the indigenous children with that history ever did. They wanted to do right by the portrayal but they couldn't give us a happy ending at the same time. So yah I'm just gonna let my heart scream in pain, but now I know that's what happened to all of them. She never got out, they never got out. Her parents camped outside and waited, forever.

AWAE Spoilers Ahead

So my heart just shattered because I found out they aren’t renewing awae but I can’t be completely upset. As much as I love this show and want more of it, I can’t think of a better place to end it if it has to happen. We finally got to see Anne and Gilbert together, Anne got some insight about her family, Diana’s parents finally allowed her to make her own decision about her future, all of the girls get to move onto the next chapter of their lives together, and everything is left on a good note for Avonlea. Do I wish we got more of our favorite characters? Absolutely, but at least we aren’t left with too many unanswered questions. The only thing I truly wish we got closure on was Ka’kwet and her family.

That ending was so satisfying!!!! But most of all I just want to say I fucking love Cole. I did not get enough of him this season but every moment he’s gotten this season has been so wonderful and his friendship with Anne is perfectly pure.

Look...I’m just saying... for y’all who haven’t... now is a reaaaallllllly good time to get into the Anne with an E fandom... like... Season 3 drops January 3rd... (though it has been airing on CBC) you got plenty of time to catch up on the first two seasons... there’s roughly 19 eps (??) available on Netflix... and as someone who has now watched all three seasons... we really want a fourth one... and by really, I mean REALLY want a Season 4... and we would all super appreciate it if you were to help boost interest... the show is fantastic... the actors are incredible... the stories they cover is wonderful and the cinematography is amazing...

Just... just give it a try... season 3 makes it alllllll worth it...

Meanwhile... I’ll be over here... waiting for them to announce season 4...
