The 1st episode of Ranma 1/2 remake/reboot is perfect!

As someone who watched the entire og 80's series and even read the entire manga/owned the manga books, my heart is so happy to see Akane and Ranma together again in 2024

I hope this time the series can finish all the way to the manga ending. I love seeing Ranma get on defensive mode from how differently Akane treated his girl side VS his boy side.

And I got into og Ranma late in the game cuz I'm not an 80s baby but I saw old chat forums/read old fanfic where fans hated Akane when I think it's understandable that she have that reaction from the Ranma in bathroom scene, so hopefully Akane gets less hate in the new version.

Overall, I'm gonna rewatch the episodes again and also binge the 80s version cuz fixation is back
