So this is a game of thrones style story, set just after the seven kingdoms were conquered. Also sorry its been a while and double double sorry really bad title. I'm not too sure on the ending but I've been stuck on it for a while so decided to go with this one.

Yandere Prince Hoseok/ Lady of the North reader
Title: Death of happiness
The castle was in pandemonium, maids bustled about as stuards and chefs barked orders. The air was a buzz of both fear and excitement.
The king and his brother were coming North and had seen fit to gracing the recently conquered territory with their presence.
Some sneared quietly at the thought of the conquering brothers, some maids giggled in excitement whispering behind hands about their famed beauty and the fact they'd get to see them for themselves.
And you? You could have felt burning rage like your older sister Lyra, that the invaders were forcing themselves into your home. Or like your younger sister Cherria you could be swooning, making half baked plans to seduce and wed one of the brothers.
But honestly? You couldn't bring yourself to feel much at all, you were excited you guessed at the prospect of the sweet summer wine that would be served at the feast, the southerners never could stomach the hearty ale the Northerners tended to revel in.
Apart from that? Nothing much, you'd curtsy to the King and the Prince, get roaring drunk at the feast then sneak off once it was winding down and get yourself to the brothel.
I mean hey you never claimed to be your fathers pride and joy, you could stitch just fine, cursty as prettily as any courtly lady but at the end of the day you enjoyed your vices too much. Your first taste of wine and first tryst had left you with an insatiable hunger that any virtuous lady would gasp and sneer at.
You didn't care you were far from Kings Landing, you were in the arse end of no where getting drunk and a good fuck were the best things to do around here.
You remember the first time your father had caught you in bed with someone from the brothel.
'Dear God's if you hadn't been born a lady you would have become a whore!'
He had said it in anger and he had apologised the next day giving you a lighter chastising of essentially.
'I'm not angry I'm just disappointed.'
He never said that he didn't mean his angry words though and frankly at nineteen you couldn't bring yourself to care what people whispered behind your back nowadays.
So Lyra could seeth and Cherria could swoon while the princes were here and you as always would search out where the most fun was to be had.
The crowed in the court yard shoved and murmured as all awaited the arrival of the royal troop. Some were whispering of dragons, that the King and Prince would ride in on them.
You snorted quietly at the thought of your servants shouting and panicking on how one feeds and looks after a dragon.
No they would have mentioned the dragons if they were bringing them in the letter sent.
You perked up at the sound of your sisters squeal, Cherria noticing the gates opening before you did. You nudged her, sending her a playful smirk as you whispered.
'Hark here comes your future husband.' The fourteen year old had been gushing all through supper last night about which one she should wed.
'The king of course would be the wiser option for power, although they say king Yoongi is so serious they say he rarely smiles. His brother on the other hand! They call him the smiling Prince! Prince Hoseok is said to be the kindest most gracious Prince there ever was!' With a serious look of contemplation that nearly made you burst out laughing she had then proclaimed with the utmost gravity.
'I shall have to see which is the most handsome when they arrive, yes I shall see and then decide.'
Standing here now as the banners slowly appeared through the opening gates you felt something in your stomach, a pit of nerves that spoke of danger.
Perhaps Lyra's ramblings of the royal brothers ferocity and cruelty on the battlefield had gotten to you. I mean they had to be at least partly true if they had managed to conquer all seven kingdoms.
Feeling your sister squirm you pinched her arm saying quietly.
'Be still father expects us to be on our best behaviour.'
She scoffed equally as quiet whispering back.
'Like you'll be on your best behaviour at the feast tonight.'
You couldn't argue with that, simply shrugging. Smiling sheepishly at your older sister as she shushed both of you.
It seemed like forever but the King finally appeared on a fine white stallion, the same shade as his brilliant white hair, beside him was a man with the same hair colour and matching violet eyes.
The smiling Prince you guessed, and what a fitting name for his brilliant smile contrasted the stoic expression of his brother.
Once the procession came to a stop your household all lowered themselves in respect, your head lowered so all you heard was feet hitting the dirt ground and a powerful voice commanding you all to arise.
'Your majesty, it is an honor to have you visit our home. I hope you find all to your liking.' Your fathers voice carried around the court yard, you felt the weight of it as it said so much more.
We accept our defeat and offer you our land.
The king thanked your father, his eyes turning to the line of three girls beside him. Noticing his curiosity your father gestured to the three of you.
'May I introduce you and your brother to my daughters.' He gave your names as the king stayed where he was nodding along, curiously though Prince Hoseok came forward, greeting the three of you individually.
His eyes stopped on you a moment too long to be seemly, on intstinct causing you to let out a small smirk to his face.
You knew when a man liked what he saw, not that it mattered despite the reputation you had you had settled down in your own way as much as it grieved your father.
A matching smirk appeared on his face before he turned away from you, facing your father and declaring.
'It seems the north produces true beauties, perhaps the cold is good for something.'
Your father laughed at the princes charm.
'Speaking of the cold you must be freezing as well as tired, please let us go into the hall to speak further.'
And so the visit had begun, you hoped it would be as peaceful all throughout.
The feast was well on its way and you were many cups in, the sweetness of the summer wine disguising how strong it was.
Cherria had spent the whole night talking and giggling with Prince Hoseok, her face was so red at this point from her clear infatuation you worried something would burst.
Lyra spent the whole night brooding, only ansewring in polite yet terse replies to anything.
The king himself spent the night with his head bent in deep conversation with your father leaving you to simply drink your cups and wait for the esteemed company to retire so the real fun could begin.
Despite how you decided to live you still knew acting how you normally would at feasts would get you in deep trouble. And so you sat and waited, your mind far away.
'...and you my lady?' Your glazed look disappeared as you realised you were being talked to.
'I'm so sorry your majesty what were you saying?'
'Your sister was saying that she has a great passion for sewing, what is it you like?' You let yourself chuckle as well as you thought of all the answers you could give but gave the most appropriate one.
'I must say I do enjoy singing, they say I am very good at it.' You paused before adding jokingly.
'Although I fear they only say it because they fear what would happen if they tell the k-lords daughter that she sounds like a pig squealing.' You felt a small flush of heat on the back of your neck at nearly calling your father king, he was king no more and you must remember it.
Thankfully the prince either didn't notice or ignored your slip up, laughing heartily at your joke. Clapping his hands together he declared.
'Then I must see for myself! You must sing!'
People caught notice of the princes announcement causing someone to shout 'sing!' From somewhere in the hall, soon a chant had begun some of the people at the lower tables thumping on the table with their fists.
Laughing then looking to the prince you said with a playful glint in your eye.
'Well it would seem the people have spoken Prince Hoseok and it would be terrible not to do my princes bidding.'
You turned from him to look out onto the crowed standing up missing the satisfied look the prince gave.
Laughing as you made your way to where the players were, a good spot where your voice would carry you curtsied towards the king getting a nod of acknowledgment you cleared your throat putting up your hands to quiet the crowed.
You barely held back your usual call of. 'Shut up you noisy bastards!'
As quiet came you began, the note ringing as sweet as the imported wine you had been drinking.
You wove together the story of the children of the forest, of their lives and the melancholy tale of how they met their end. As the final note rang out you curtsied once again as the cheers filled the air. You made your way back to the high table, ignoring the chants for another song.
Sitting back down you turned to the prince asking.
'And the verdict your highness?' His violet eyes seemed to swirl with heat as he responded, his usually upturned lips deadly serious.
'Beautiful.' He said his tone seemingly implying something deeper. It made you squirm in your seat with discomfort. Clearing your throat you reached for you goblet turning to face out to the crowed again.
Sending a tight smile to the prince you replied.
'Always a pleasure to entertain.'
As the night ran on the king retired along with your sisters, despite Cherrias whining protests to stay on. As the prince continued to sit at the table you could guess why she was protesting.
Although you would rather she had stayed on than you, Hoseoks previous intensity still leaving you uncomfortable. Still the call of wine and the sweet oblivion of drunkeness called to you and so you stayed on with the stragglers, like them trying to squeeze the feast for all its worth. Strangley though the platinum haired man beside you had not touched a drop of wine since his brother had left, seemingly more interested in interrogating you on every aspect of your life, your previous joking nature was replaced with wariness causing you to give as little detail as possible.
As you looked around the sparse hall as the prince asked you yet another question someone caught your eye, causing you to choke on your mouthfull of wine.
Coughing the prince patted your back, looking at you with concern.
'My lady are you okay?' Nodding your head you crudely wiped your chin and mouth, glaring as the man who caught your eye , he winked and left the hall.
Hurriedly you said to the prince.
'If you'll excuse me highness I think I may retire.'
Not waiting for permission you rudely got up and left, following the man.
Walking through the halls you huffed as you couldn't spot him anywhere.
'Bloody bastard.' You hissed, passing a hidden aclove when an arm twined its way around your waist and a hand covered your mouth, muffling your scream of surprise.
'Oh I'm a bastard now as well as whore?' The voice whispered in your ear, you tore yourself away from the mans grasp, turning around to and slapping him on his chest.
'You scared the shit out of me.' You whispered heatedly glaring at the laughing man. He held up his hands in surrender his small chuckles still rumbling in his chest.
'I'm sorry my love, you make these things too easy.' Crossing your arms over your chest you continued to glare this time a hint of concern in your eyes.
'What the hell are you doing here? Do you know what my father would have done if he found out you were at the feast.' His laughing had stopped.
'What? That a whore was in the kings presence?' His previous playful demeanour had turned icy. Sighing you ran a soothing hand through his hair.
'You know I only think of your safety, my father may have had you whipped or worse! Please do not do this again, I care for you and do not want to see harm come to you.'
The brunette sighed, nodding his head.
'I know, I just wanted to see you.' You shook your head, a small smile on your lips.
'See the king more like. Thinking of bagging yourself an even wealthier customer?' It was his turn to playfully slap your arm.
'And what about you? Laughing and singing for the prince as pretty as a canary.' His hands had started to wander, going to your hips and pulling you roughly to him causing you to gasp then laugh mischievously.
'Jealous are we?' You whispered as your lips brushed against his teasingly.
'Terribly.' He breathed before pulling you into a heated kiss turning you both around so you were pinned to the wall.
His hand hurriedly moved to your skirts, pulling them up and cupping your heat.
'This is mine.' He growled, slipping a finger into your slit and finding your bud. You moaned out.
'Prove it.' The aclove hid your bodies but not your combined moans.
Hoseok watched in curiosity and anger as you left his side so quickly, he watched your form disappear into a dark hallway. He waited a minute before he got up himself, following where you went.
He told himself it was just to make sure you got back to your room safely, it was dangerous for a lady to travel dark corridors at night.
As he made his way through the hallway he stopped at the sound of hushed voices, he recognised one of them as yours.
'...laughing and singing for the prince as pretty as a canary.' He listened closely, somehow finding himself desperate to even just hear your voice. He felt his anger reappear at the sound of lips meeting lips, he was no idiot he knew what was going on in that hidden space.
Yet he found himself flush at the sound of your moans in a dangerous mix of anger and arousal. He wanted to reveal himself, slit the mans throat, he wanted to drag you out and shame you but he also wanted to replace the man, take you against the wall.
He did none of this, instead silently moving away as he thought things over.
He knew who you truly were now, not some beautiful lady who's pure singing matched her personality.
Despite this he didn't feel his already dangerous infatuation cool, if anything he felt it spiral even further.
The visit was to last two weeks it had been a week and a half. A week and a half of hell to you, your father had found your lover Harry in your bed the morning after the feast, nearly ordering the man punished. It was only your reasoning that punishing the man would bring questions from the king that had him simply throwing Harry out, back to the brothel he came from.
You hadn't called on him since then truly fearing your father would go through with it, his rage had been so strong the morning he'd found you.
'I will tolerate your escapades but not with the king under my roof!'
And so you had three days before the royal party was to leave.
Not to mention the prince had been...strange with you since the feast. He was hot and cold, sometimes he was terse and cold showering Cherria with attention and other times he was doting upon you like you were the only one in the room.
This further led to your younger sister switching between being on cloud nine gushing to you and then giving you cold shoulder, seeing how the prince gave you attention.
It may be treasonous but you couldn't wait the see the royal houses back. You were sure your father felt the same, their presence had caused a considerable dent in the larder and his treasury.
So colour you both surprised and horrified at the demand disguised as an invitation for you to accompany the prince and the king back to Kings Landing as an esteemed guest.
Your father had been equally horrified thinking that the king was collecting hostages so that the Lords would not rise against him.
Perhaps it was that, but you couldn't help but think of heated stares and grinning lips that seemed to be holding a dark secret.
You held back the tears as you hugged your family goodbye, even Cherria sour at the fact you were invited to Kings Landing and not her hugged you tightly.
You wanted to tell her she was lucky, that she was safe here but you hadn't been able to have a moment alone with her.
Finally getting to your father he whispered into your ear as he embraced you.
'Be safe, if ever you are mistreated send a raven secretly. I will find a way out for you.' You nodded subtly, pulling yourself away you made your way to your horse, a groom helping you up.
You were beside the prince and the king being a "esteemed guest" of course.
You looked out into the crowed hoping to catch and glimpse of Harry, you couldn't spot his curly mop of brown hair. Swallowing the lump in your throat you watched as all bowed around you to the king. A kick to his horses side and the group of hundreds started to move.
You looked over your shoulder to your family one last time, a feeling of sorrow and foreboding deep in your gut.
It had been a week on the kings road, it had been a long and arduous ride and still there was a week to go. Still surprisingly despite the kings stoicism he had made good company, he spoke calmly and was not afraid to debate.
Although he looked at you with pity in his eyes sometimes which unnerved you. You tried to ignore it as it was the only time you felt at peace, Hoseok when he spoke to you would...some would say dote on you his on and off attitude gone as soon as you left home. You called it being overbearing though, constantly asking about your health, did you eat enough? Was it too cold for you?
You had been tempted to snap at him more than once but refrained.
It was night now and you were laying in your cot in your large tent when you heard the tent flaps opening. Sitting up you saw a tall figure in the dark, about to scream you heard a 'shhhh' then.
'Its me.' Your mouth agape you finally caught up with what was going on.
'Harry what are you doing here?' The figure made his way to the cot, sitting down on the edge.
'Didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you?' You were about to rain all sorts of curses and insults mostly saying 'you idiot' but before you could he said.
'Run away with me.' You stared at him a moment, eyes wide in disbelief.
'Run...away with you.' You said it like it was the dumbest thing you've ever heard, perhaps it was.
'I know you don't want to go to Kings Landing, I know you love me and I sure as hell know I love you so run away with me.'
You lifted your hand to his cheek, laughing in disbelief. You focused on his face through the darkness, his features becoming clearer. You were so focused you didn't notice the other figure silently enter your tent.
Stupidly, simply perhaps in disbelief in yourself you said.
'Okay.' You saw him smile as he repeated.
'O-' he didn't finished as a knife cut across his throat, you felt the gush of blood more so than the blood itself. You sat in shock for a moment not registering what had just happened. It wasn't until Harry's body slumped on top of you that it clicked.
You screamed, so in shock that you pushed his body off of you. If you had been in your right mind you would have held him closer, would have sobbed and rocked his corpse back and forth as you mourned.
But no all you could do was scream.
A slippery hand clasped itself on your mouth, blood more blood so much fucking blood.
'Shhhhh.' The voice said, a heavy weight came upon you as the intruder straddled you pinning you down.
'Shut up and listen.' They whispered-no Hoseok whispered.
'When the guards come you will tell them this man tried to force himself on you. That I came in and saved you.'
You shook your head desperately, you would tell them the truth. That their prince is a murderer.
Your moving had dislodged his hand and you had said as much through your sobs.
'You think they'll care about some whore over a prince? No tell them what I told you or I might just have to invite your younger sister up to Kings Landing. Terrible things can happen on the road up to the capitol.'
You felt your breath hitch, you had many faults but you loved your family. In defeat you nodded your head.
Hoseok got off of you just in time for the guards to rush in. You told them almost mechanically the story the prince had made up for you. Staring glassy eyed ahead not being able to bring yourself to look at the body.
The rest of the ride to the capitol you were numb, all those around you walked on eggshells the maids extra attentive and Hoseok stuck to your side. They all cooed at how caring he was towards you, maids gossiped how lucky you were to have such a protective caring man by your side.
Some with a keener eye saw how he looked at you, talked of marriage yet they didn't look close enough otherwise they would have seem the look of infatuation was mad obsessiveness.
You spent the first week in Kings landing equally as numb, grief for not only Harry but for yourself. You were trapped, if those in the north could see you now they would hardly recognise the lively rambunctious girl they had known.
As you sat in the great hall the court cheering around you at your announced betrothal to Prince Hoseok you bid farewell to the last peice of that carefree girl.
