My roommate was nifty
i am at my fucking capacity

this has probably been done, but fuck it
The millenial plight
that part when he’s testing possible replacements for the palladium core
why did they delete this scene
somebody please explain this to me
it was replaced with that bit where JARVIS says he’s delighted to see a video of tony with his clothes on
but i
just
this scene is 459% more effective in expressing the seriousness of the situation
that whole thing that happens before pepper gets there EXPLAINS why he acted like a big child when pepper got there
oh my fucking god
why did they delete this scene. why did they do this
oh god why
I MEAN THE SENSE OF URGENCY GOING ON HERE IS UNBELIEVABLE
WHEN THE LITTLE IRON MAN HOLOGRAM DIES I JUST??? DIED ALONG WITH IT. TONY’S FACE KILLED ME. THIS KILLED ME
WHY WASNT IT IN THE MOVIE I DONT UNDERSTAND
And when Pepper admits to being sick, Tony is probably scared for real. His immune system must have been blown to hell what with the reactor itself and now with polladium
Thing is… Tony knew about the poisoning since Iron Man1, the green juice we see DUM-E making? The green juice we see him drinking constantly?
There’s a scene with that same stuff in the first movie.
This just proves that Tony’s been actively searching for replacements since then. Maybe at first as a side project because he was finishing the exoskeleton/armour prototype, because hey he had the time, right? The poisoning wasn’t that urgent!
6-months later (MCU time-wise if I’m not mistaken) we seen this scene.
And I find it interesting that he acts like a child here to distract Pepper from his research, while he keeps her focus on him, he methodically erases all traces of what he was doing. Because he knows that Pepper’s FAR from stupid.
While she might not have the technical knowledge he has, they have spent enough time together that she would have picked up that something wasn’t right. So what does he do? He jokes about the money, he gives away something /she/ cares about to divert her attention from the real issue.
And it works. It fucking works.
I’ve seen a lot of people going ‘oh she should have realised that something was going on’ but Tony didn’t want her to find out. He knew her well enough to push her buttons and push her away from him. He knew how to act so she would focus on SI instead of him.
Tony might have been actively preparing her to take over when he died. Because that rendering? Tony has tested all known elements 3-times over and found nothing. He’s about ready to accept that he will die. He’s arrogant enough to go ‘if I can’t find it no one can, so I might as well keep it under wraps,’ he has given up hope in Iron Man 2.
That movie is Tony going through his list of ‘things to do before I die,’ while being obnoxious with the people he loves so they won’t miss him that much when he dies.
Have I mentioned that Tony’s socially stunted when it comes to relationships? Because he is, and it shows.
Hoooly shit.
@xtaticpearl @lavengadoraaa
actually, adding to what was said: palladium is used in car parts, which explains why he used it in the first place now, if you remember, Tony is seen working on his father’s car in his workshop prior to flying out to Afghanistan, so i find it hard to believe, knowing what he knows about cars, mechanics, etc. that he wouldn’t have known it was a toxic metal, meaning he was aware that it wouldn’t be a long term solution remember, when Rhodey sees it, he says to him, “You had this, inside your body?” Rhodey knows his shit too, I wouldn’t put it past him to have recognized palladium for what it was – he’s the SI liaison, he would know different compounds & their various uses, also, he’s an engineer himself
DID I SAVE THIS PHOTO OR DID THIS PHOTO SAVE ME??
Me if Tony gets treated like shit in Infinity Wars:
Katniss & Rue → The Hunger Games deleted scene
A 10 mins sketch of Ahsoka Tano (why 10 mins? Because i gotta get ready for work)
For this, i referenced Amandla Stenberg who (for me at least) perfectly conveys youth and fierceness that is the young padawan Ahsoka Tano. Also pictured here, my shitty nail job lol.

So sweet
I don’t know if you’ve actually seen this episode, but Pam invites the entire office to her art show that she’s been gearing up for for a really long time. Nobody shows up except for Oscar and his partner (and they critique her work, calling her “lacking in courage” among other things, not realizing she is standing right behind them) and then Michael. And Michael is the only one who tells her she is great just for putting herself out there, and the only one who places value on what she’s done, and he points out all the little details she got right and notices absolutely every bit of hard work she put into it. And then treats Pam like the artist she is by not just paying her for her art, but displaying it where literally everyone can see it.
It’s one of my favorite episodes.
there are a lot of tv shows about young people in new york city with crappy jobs but nice apartments and clothes and stuff and i don’t think that actually happens in real life?? how would they afford it?? selling their soul 2 the devil??
NOTE 2 SELF: tv show idea…..sitcom about quirky young woman in new york city who sold her soul 2 the devil in order 2 get an affordable apartment and gets into hilariously awkward situations with her new roommate satan
F.I.E.N.D.S.
So Dante told you things were gonna be this way, You paid the toll–your soul–and soon you’re gonna pay. You know you’re going to the special place, And this world cannot prepare you for the tortures you’re gonna face, And–
I’ll be there for you, When you’re dead in your grave, I’ll be there for you, When there’s nothing to save–
Your "the sun's been kind" looks so cool from what I've seen in your tag for it! I hope to read the books when they eventually come out.
Thank you, I get so happy when ppl are interested in it !!! ;0;
