I'm definitely missing a few things and I'm not naming the individual short stories since they're in these books. NieR is first and foremost a multimedia franchise so whatever you enjoy there's something to get into! There's a TON of stuff to go through so don't feel the need to consume it all, just check out what you think is neat!! :)

Group B note: Automata is such a tiny fraction of the universe and admittedly not very important in the grand scheme of the lore (there isn't even a version that connects as of 5/16/2026), so if you're interested in that sort of information it would be the things related to the Replicant games and the Drakengard trilogy. The only reason it has so much content is because of the 'Logic of Safety' and the fact it's the 10M sales flagship entry. Even Yoko Taro is vocally tired of it lol.
