I distinctly remember a point when I thought to myself, ‘Oh I’ll never cosplay Gale’s camp outfit, with all that embroidery….’ 😅

Anyway, I saw a post talking about how GenAI has become a plague in the embroidery world, with so many fake projects and patterns, and it made me angry. I’ve come to love embroidery because it’s such a slow, detail-oriented craft, and for this project especially, it was an expression of dedication and how much Gale means to me as a character. And I’m sure there are countless others who feel similarly about their embroidery projects.

GenAI, parasitic and false, has no place here, or in any other form of art. It cannot feel, and it cannot create all the extraordinary art made by human hands and hearts.

Any headcanons for Dipper and Mabel as they grow older? Like, what will their careers will be?

Dipper, I truly believe follow’s his dream and goes on to a tech school to learn filmmaking and does independent studies on the paranormal and “oddology”.

He gets a comfortable income through his YouTube videos, Patreon, TikTok and such, where he travels to famous haunted locations like the Stanley Hotel or Queen Mary. He makes multi hour long specials about Gravity Falls. At some point he does a multi part series where he tagged along with Stan and Ford out to the Arctic.

Mabel starts a small business where she sells her knitted quilts, clothes, and accessories. She frequents trade shows which do alright, but her online shop keeps her lights on. She also gets a cut when she makes appearances in Dipper’s videos, makes art for his socials (cover art, thumbnails ect). But I like to think she pays her rent by job hopping. I feel like she wouldn’t be able to sit still employed in one place, and has worked just about every restaurant in Piedmont. Collecting and displaying all her name tags on a corkboard. She also volunteers at the local shelters to walk dogs and play with the kitties on her off time. She eventually goes on to her nursing assistant certificate to take care of an elderly Ford and Stan after they retire to the lake house

Next wip I'm throwing out unfinished to lower pressure! Narinder's arrival. He was wiped out by colors and sounds and smells and left with 0 will to fight for days. No talking, dazed and mellow. Hiding in the dark a lot, coming out at night to sit and watch the sunsets. He even let the Lamb care for him. Lambie didn't even get to be mad at him.

I really wanted to make this one polished, I'm very much not happy with it. Oh well. I wanted this bit of lore out anyway.
