A/n: so I used this prompt: “It's almost an accomplishment how many ways I can misspell a three letter name.” Which comes from @/coffin-prompts and you should check them out because it’s my favorite prompt blog and they post AMAZING things :)

There are certain things nobody can deny. The sun is bright. Grass is green. Amy is hot. You are drunk.

It wasn’t like you weren’t aware of your drunken state, in fact; you knew you were going to regret doing basically everything after your sixth drink, but you couldn’t stop yourself.

However, Amy was drunk as well, something that was just as rare as an eclipse on the same time the plague would return.

The both of you were huddled in a booth over a piece of paper, giggling as if you were teenagers talking about boys.

“No,” Amy flicked at the pen. “Don’t put that there. Write my name.”

“Sure, sure,” You frowned. “Amy?”

Amy giggled, nodding. “Yes, that’s ‘A’-“

“I know how to spell your name,” you interrupted her, shoving her just a little. “Okay... Wait,” you frowned at the paper. You couldn’t believe you messed it up. “That’s not right

“Dumb looks cute on you,” Amy rested her head on your shoulder. “Oh my god, what’s happening to me?”

“You’re falling in love with my dumb ass,” You giggled again, teying to write her name again, but the world was spinning and even you couldn’t read what you wrote down. “God,it’s almost an accomplijsjd-“

“Accomplishment.”

“Right. That. How many times I can misspell a three letter name.”

Amy took the pen from your hands, writing her own name down. “Don’t be embarrassed,”

“Why would I be?”

“Well,” Amy giggled, looking away from your face. “I mean, you should be.”

“Why? Dumb looked cute on me.”

“Smart would look even better.”

18. Is that my sweater/jersey?

Emily loved her job. She loved to travel and see the world, and she liked seeing the beautiful cityscapes from the jet. She preferred warmer climates, and had accumulated a large supply of hoodies and jumpers for the cold winter months. She didn’t get to wear them often; they were hardly part of her work attire, but she made the most of them when she was at home.

She knew that you loved them as well, especially the ones made from softer materials. It wasn’t uncommon for you to slip a sweater on when you visited Emily’s apartment, with a bashful grin on your face as you snuggled into the fabric. Emily found the behaviour more endearing than anything, so of course she let you get away with it. And really, someone should stop them from gathering dust in the wardrobe, and it’s not like you took them from the apartment.

As the seasons transitioned from summer to autumn and then autumn to winter, Emily found herself wishing that a big woolly jumper would be acceptable to wear at work. She was fine in the station or if she was chasing after an unsub but helping to canvas a neighbourhood? Sitting in an empty apartment or derelict building or freezing cold car to stake out a suspect or keep watch over a victim? Those were the times where she wished for more layers, but at least she knew they were in her apartment.

After working a local case, Emily decided to go to your house for a surprise visit. You were thrilled to see her, and as Emily gave you a hug in greeting she couldn’t help but find it amusing that you wore her sweaters when you had a perfectly good one yourself. The grey jumper was very warm looking, and Emily almost found herself a little envious.

Still, she brushed it aside and had a lovely evening with you. It wasn’t until Emily was rummaging through your dresser for something to wear to bed (she didn’t want to go back out in the cold, and frankly you weren’t about to let your snugglebuddy leave now that you had her in your clutches) that she noticed something.

There were at least two jumpers crammed into every draw that did not belong. It wasn’t until Emily pulled one out completely that she recognised it as hers. Making the most of you being in the shower, Emily pulled them all out and noticed that every single one belonged to her.

Now Emily had no problem with you wearing her clothes, but to have at least eight of her sweaters in your home was a bit much, especially as you hadn’t asked. Feeling a little put out, Emily grabbed some pyjamas and put her clothes back in the dresser.

You came out the bathroom carrying the grey sweater you’d had on earlier. You set it aside and put the rest of your clothes in the hamper. Emily picked up the sweater as she considered the very real possibility that it was from her apartment, frowning as she covertly checked the label. Yep, it was definitely one of hers.

“Can I ask you a question?” Emily set the jumper to her left as she turned her attention to you. You’d looked up at her question, moving to stand before Emily from where she was perched on the bed in order to give her your full attention.

“Of course. What’s up?”

Emily stared up at your unsuspecting face and worked to keep the accusation from her tone as she asked, “is that my sweater?”. She indicated with her eyes that she was referring to the jersey next to her, looking back at you quickly enough to see you freeze and tense up.

You wrapped your arms around yourself, shifting your weight a little as you nodded and softly acknowledged that it was.

“Are the others in the dresser mine as well?” Emily probed gently, letting out a sigh when you answered honestly that yes, you had been stealing from your girlfriend’s wardrobe.

You were anxious to explain yourself at the faint annoyance you could detect in Emily’s features. “I didn’t mean to borrow so many. It’s just… when you go on cases I really miss you, and the jumpers smell like you and it feels like you’re still here.” You swallowed, fighting the rising emotion. “I never know if you’re coming back. I guess, it just gives me comfort to have something that smells like you here. Keeps the nightmares away as well.”

Emily breathed out softly at your rambling, pulling you in for a hug. She’d never had this before, someone left at home to worry about her. She’d never really done the whole clothes sharing thing in her previous relationships, but she could understand it in a way. Even if she couldn’t fully comprehend it herself, she was aware that her jerseys had become something of a safety blanket for you.

“It’s okay,” she whispered in your ear, “I just wished you asked first and spoken to me about this.”

You muttered an apology, before reluctantly offering for her to take them back to her apartment. Emily shook her head. “You can keep them, baby. Just let me know next time, okay? I like them too.” She poked your side playfully, pleased to see a smile form on your lips. Given the reason you took them was because you missed your girlfriend, Emily couldn’t maintain her irritation on the matter. If anything, she privately swore to wear her sweaters more often to make them smell more like her rather than just whatever laundry detergent she’d used when they were last washed.

“Come on then, little thief,” she teased, “time for some shut eye. In the morning we’ll go to mine and you can borrow some of the clothes that actually smell like me.”

Emily lightly pulled you into bed with her, smiling reassuringly at you when you were clearly startled by the proposition and the action. Emily decided to be the big spoon, wrapping her arms around you as you both settled down to sleep. Your embarrassment faded at being caught red handed with the knowledge that your girlfriend was home safe and sound, and that she wasn’t angry you’d been raiding her wardrobe for months.

Prompt: “You used to tell me everything, what happened?” with Veronica? 

Looking longingly at the girl across the room, the world felt dull, pale, and utterly boring. The worst thing was that it felt empty. 

Veronica had been the light and happiness of your life, she was warmth, adventure, and a soft smile in the morning. You didn’t know where that had changed. You didn’t know when that had changed. You only knew you wished all had remained the same, and you’d be sitting next to her at that moment, an arm around her shoulders and your lips against her cheek. That’s how it should be. 

As happy as she seemed, you knew she wasn’t. You noticed in what she texted you, you noticed in the way she carried herself and in what she chose to tell you. You knew her so well, maybe too well. 

Eventually, once you finished your drink, you got up, moving over to Veronica and Betty. “Hey, babe, I thought you were busy today.” 

“Y/n, I didn’t see you,” She smiled, moving over so you could sit. “I was, but daddy was being himself, so I left.” 

Betty chuckled, sipping from her milkshake. 

“Oh, can I sit?” 

“We were actually about to leave,” Veronica apologized, and you felt that familiar pang of disappointment, betrayal. “Right, Betty?”

“Yeah, yeah,” Betty drank the last of her milkshake. “Jughead asked us to help him with an article.” 

“Okay,” You forced a smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” 

She kissed your lips, reaching for her purse. “Can’t wait.” 

“Veronica!” You smiled when you saw her. “You’re late, I thought you wouldn’t come.” 

“I promised I’d be here,” She seemed nervous, yet not to the point where she started fidgetting. “Now, you wanted to talk?” 

“Uh, yeah,” You gestured for her to take a seat, immediately you reached for her hand, taking it with a smile. “It’s just... Are you okay?” 

Taken back by the question, she looked away. “To be honest, I haven’t been great.” 

“Talk to me, baby.” 

“No, no, it’s okay. It’ll be all back to normal in a few days.” 

“Veronica,” You slowly began, pulling your hand back. “You used to tell me everything, what happened?” 

“Daddy came back, that’s what happened.” Veronica sighed, pulling her hand back as well. “Look, I’m really sorry. I do care about you, which is why things have felt... different.” 

“Pushing me away won’t make me feel better.” 

“I know, and I’m sorry.” Veronica said. 

“But you won’t change it?” 

“I’ll try,” She offered you a smile. “What about a date night tomorrow?”

“Another round of shots?” You suggested, feeling way to sober for the amount of drinks your friends had had. And being sober wasn’t anything you liked at that moment.

“Again? So you want us to die?” Amy said, following you anyway. Jake and Charles were already at the bar, chatting with a woman.

You were pleased to see that Rosa also followed, slightly wobbling on her feet. “Babe, are you sure you wanna get another one?”

“I’m not drunk,” Rosa huffed, crossing her arms. “I’ll tell you when I am.”

You giggled, moving closer to your girlfriend with a smile. “Sure honey,” You kissed her cheek with a smile. “You heard it barman! One more round of shots!”

“Oh my god,” Amy slurred softly, leaning against Jake. “Look at them! They’re all over each other.”

When Jake glanced at the two of you, he grinned. Rosa never was an open person, rarely showed a smile, so seeing her gently caress your cheek, brush your hair back, smile softly at you, made his heart soft.

“They’re sweet together.” He said, just as you leaned in for a kiss, making Rosa giggle a little. “And Rosa is probably drunk.”

Amy laughed,glancing briefly at Jake, giving the young couple some privacy as they kissed once again. They truly were adorably perfect.

Can’t we just stab them? (Brenda x reader)

The car slowly stopped, and just as you’d ordered the boys to, they ducked. All you had to do now was wait. Wait until they came. Wait until you could do your actual plan, which was more than just waiting.

But, Thomas and Newt turned out to be quite annoying. Thomas was impatient and wanted to leave the car while Newt seemed to worry if this all was a good idea.

Brenda didn’t seem to mind. At least not too much.

You, on the other hand, was going crazy. If they didn’t shut up, you were going to hurt them.

Brenda seemed to notice your frustration. She took your hand and chuckled. “Are they annoying you?”

“What else is new,” you sighed, glancing behind you to see them talking. “I hope their heads hit against each other so they shut up.”

“They’ll Be here any minute,” Brenda squeezed your hand. “You’ll have to survive that.” The way she laughed made you roll your eyes.

“Can’t we just stab them?”

“Stab who?” Thomas asked, leaning closer.

“You.” You said. “Stop being such an asshole and shut up for a moment.”

Brenda couldn’t help but laugh a little. “Why did I fall for you again?”

“Because I didn’t want to stab you?”

(AN): ok so I should probably try posting more. Like idk I’ll probably fail but I’m going to try to upload at least one time a week.

You felt stupid; how could you not have expected this? It was the most obvious thing that would’ve happened. You really should stop trying to be positive, that never worked. 

So now you were running. You really shouldn’t have done this with Brenda alone. You should’ve at least asked Jorge to tag along. But now wasn’t the time to hate yourself for stupid mistakes. You just had to make sure you could do that later. 

There you were, running. Of course you were. You were panting, you’d think that constant running would mean you could run better. You had lost sight of Brenda, but at this moment, you couldn’t focus on that. The gun was burning against your thigh, you just needed a good moment to grab it and turn around. The crank was just a little too close for your liking. 

You turned around the building, running inside, which wasn’t a great decision. However, you were lucky. There were no cranks there yet. You had just about enough time to grab your gun and turn around, shooting at the crank. You liked to think of yourself as a pretty good shot, but you were still surprised when you only needed two shots to kill it.

You would’ve patted your own shoulder, but you heard a scream, and you just ran. There was no way you’d let something happen to Brenda. You couldn’t. You would hate yourself. So you ran. 

You were out of breath, panting and had a dry mouth. But you weren’t even thinking of stopping. Brenda was a young woman, perfectly capable of taking care of herself. You know that all too well, but this was different. In here, in the Scorch, everyone needed help. 

Following the sounds but mostly your gut, you were happy to see her. You were less happy to see she was surrounded by cranks. You didn’t have to think about shooting. Sure, you could miss, but you thought you were a great shooter. So you shot, and the cranks suddenly thought you were quite interesting.

You never thought you’d say it, but you were happy about that. Brenda had your back as well, and she was a great shooter as well. However, it was hard to take on four cranks, so as soon as you saw the possibility, you yelled ‘run’, and started running. 

Brenda had always been faster than you, which was fine if she didn’t forget to look behind her. She was the first one to be safe. You weren’t more than a few seconds behind her, but the way she hugged you told you it felt like forever. 

She lightly laughed, cupping your cheeks. “Oh my god, I thought I lost you,” She scanned all over your face, unable to take her eyes off you. “I’m sorry.” 

You placed your hands on her wrists, smiling. “For what? Killing those cranks?” she let out an airy laugh, mostly because a lot of pressure had just fallen off her shoulders. Maybe it was an in the moment thing, but she crashed her lips onto yours. You were surprised, sure, but you enjoyed it more.

It took you a brief second to kiss her back with just as much force. It seemed like this had been on your lips for a long time. When you finally pulled back, her hands slowly glided off your cheeks to your shoulders, your foreheads were touching. There was a smile on both of your faces. 

“We should head out more often if it ends like this,” You breathed out, earning a chuckle from her. 

“We can do it again without almost dying, you know?” You pulled your forehead slightly back. 

“Where’s the fun in that?”

There had always been one thing you’d know, one thing you had always been sure of: you weren’t anything special. You looked normal, you thought normal and you acted normal. Nothing strange ever happened to you. At least, you thought so. When you were eleven, things started to become strange. Of course, you didn’t know other people didn’t see what you saw. You saw men and women with pink and blue skin, big wolves and even, if you paid close attention, pale people with fangs. 

No one ever told you that wasn’t normal, and you never asked about the people with fangs, the wolves, or the people with pink or blue skin. 

It wasn’t until you saw people with a lot of tattoos, who no one seemed to notice, that you began questioning everything. It was obvious no one saw them, which made you curious. From the moment you started paying closer attention, you noticed that the same teens appeared more often than you’d like to think. So when you ‘accidently’ bumped into the tall girl, you smiled apologetically. 

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going,” The stunned look on the face of the girl and the boys almost made you giggle. 

“You can see me?” 

“You’re kinda hard to miss,” You said with a grin, before realizing how that sounded.  “Not that you’re big or anything... It’s just-” The blonde boy chuckled while the dark-haired boy rolled his eyes. “I just meant that you were beautiful. And tall.” 

The girl cracked a little smile, but you weren’t sure if you should be happy about that. 

Ever since that day, you had been trying to figure out why you could see them. They talked to you later, though. They thought you might have the sight, whatever that was. Alec, the boy with the dark hair, said you should just ignore it and stay away from anyone who looked out of the ordinary. Isabelle, the girl, scolded at him, which he answered with a: “we already have a lot to do”, which you understood. 

But a word wasn’t enough, so you tried to find out more about ‘the sight’. You didn’t find much, which was a disappointment, especially since you probably were never going to see the teens again. 

About one thing, you were right, you didn’t see the teens again, at least not all of them. You ran into Isabelle, even though it was obvious she knew you were going to be there. 

“You probably have a lot of questions,” Was her greeting. You were mesmerized by her smile, by the way her eyes twinkled in this certain light. By everything about her, really. “You still there?” 

You shook the thought of her hands on your cheek and her red lips on yours off, awkwardly smiling. “Sorry,” You gestured to the chair opposite of you. “I’d love that.” 

And that was how it all started. Maybe it was your charisma, your charm, or maybe it was the way you embarrassed yourself around her, but she asked if you’d be there often. Chances were she knew you came there often, but it would be weird if she admitted that. You almost burned your tongue on your drink when you heard the question, but ignored it. You nodded rather fast, with a very bright smile. A few days later, you ran into Isabelle again. 

Only a couple of months later, you and Isabelle were in a relationship. It wasn’t a surprise to either of you. From the moment you were enchanted by her, and somehow you managed to charm her into seeing things in you that you didn’t see yourself. She loved coming over to your place, and your mother treated her like a daughter of her own. You dad approved, too. 

“Baby!” You said with a grin when you come in your room, hair a little damp, still. You had been in the shower when she had arrived. “I missed you, how long has it been?” 

“Just a week,” She said with a smile, wincing slightly when your arms wrapped themselves around her body. “Careful.” 

“What’s wrong?” You let go of her, trying to spot something that looked hurt. “Are you hurt?” 

“it’s fine, just something an iratze wouldn’t fix.” You smiled gently at her, all the love that was normally in your hugs captured in it. 

“Need a backrub?” She groaned at the idea and let herself fall on her back. 

“God, no,” You chuckled and laid down beside her. “Your backrubs are the worst.” 

“Well, I’m not a massage-woman.” 

“Did you forget the word?” She turned her head to look at you. A slight blush formed on your cheeks. 

“Yeah,” 

“You’re so cute,” Isabelle grinned, pressing a soft kiss to your head.

I Have To

Pairing: Once upon a Time; Emma x Reader

“I love you,” She said as you were searching the closet. You stopped, your head dropped and the feeling of extreme sadness took over you. You hated crying, especially in front of others. You quickly wiped away any tear, blinking them away.

“I love you too,” you hated the fact that this was the first time you had ever said that.

“But this doesn’t change anything, does it?” You could hear the pain in her voice. It hurt you, too, it really did. But she was right, at this point, not even love could change anything.

“Don’t you understand?” You turned around, tears in your eyes. No matter how hard you were trying to, they didn’t go away. “I have to leave.”

“You’re the one who doesn’t understand! You never have to do anything!” She spoke loudly, throwing her arms up. “Not if you don’t want to.”

“I have to,” your voice broke and You shifted your gaze. “I’m really sorry, but I can’t stay.” You grabbed the suitcase and stuffed your clothes in them. You could hear Emma turn around, throw herself on the bed. You could feel her frustration and pain, which only made you feel worse.

You walked to the bathroom, wiping away tears and stuffing your stuff into the suitcase. Emma didn’t stop you when you walked to the door.

“Emma,” she lifted her head, looking hopeful. “I love you. I really do.” She just dropped her head. You couldn’t see the way the looked right now, you could only guess there were tears in her eyes. You waited a moment, hoping she’d beg you to stay, hoping she would convince you to stay.

But she didn’t.

So you gently closed the door and walked to your car, driving away and leaving behind the life you thought you could live forever.

You liked to think that it was the fact that you were crying, that you didn’t notice that Emma was driving behind you. When you did, you stopped. You parked your car, stepping out.

“Emma?”

“Please don’t leave,” Emma said. You leaned back against your car. “I know you have to leave, but I didn’t mean it like that.”

“Then what do you mean?”

“Don’t leave me,” She whispered. “We can visit each other, call, text. I get that this is important for you, but I thought I was important as well.”

“You are,” you took a step closer. “I love you. But I didn’t think you’d want... this.”

“It’s only temporary, right?” You smiled. You weren’t sure about that, you liked to think it was.

“Yeah,” you pulled her in for a kiss, which she answered, her hands grabbed your face. “So,” you pulled back. “I’ll see you later?”

“I love you too,” She said. “I should’ve said it.” You chuckled, shaking your head.

“I’ll miss you,” you kissed her cheek. “I mean it.”

“But you have to,” she sniffed, smiling. “I understand.”

“Thank you,”

A small smile spread across your face when you woke up, the heaviness on your back was a signal that Emily was home again. You turned your head as far as you could, relaxing again when you saw Emily sleeping with her head on your back. However much you missed her when she was gone, waking up with her when you weren’t even expecting her to be back. You couldn’t move much without waking her up, so you refused to move, not knowing when she had come home.

Whenever you were awake, you tended to stir and move more than when you were asleep. “Are you awake?” You smiled when Emily spoke, her fingers gently running over your back.

“I am,” you finally turned around, wrapping your arms around her. “I’m happy you’re back.”

Whenever Emily was with you, the weight that her job gave her, seemed to be lifted off her shoulders. Whenever she was with you, at least at these kind of moments, where reality seemed far away, she felt good, safe, loved.

“How was the case? The flight?” You gently kissed her head as she snuggled closer to you.

“It ended well, minimal trauma for the victim,” she said. “The flight was long.” She looked up at you, she had expected these questions. You always asked, just to make sure Emily was okay.

“Want to grab some breakfast?” She pushed herself up, pressing a quick kiss to your lips.
