STANFORD PINES. CONFIRMED AMBIDEXTROUS.
teen titans go is just so unpleasant to watch
Damn them for appealing to children
i just literally watched an ep where robin wanted to build a pool instead of a senior’s centre because he wanted to see starfire in a bikini and rub lotion on her and acting fucking creepy as fuck about it like what child goes through wanting to see one of their peers wearing a bikini how is this appealing/relatable to children like
there was also an episode i saw recently where the team lost their memory except for robin and he spent the entire episode convincing everyone he was their leader and he like, raised and saved everyone or something, basically convincing them to worship him, but when it came to starfire he tried to convince everyone she was his girlfriend and she seemed confused and uncomfortable but robin was like “ha ha! just a bit of couple banter! love you sweetie!” and refused to stop treating her like they were dating until she got her memory back? like? what message does that give. robin is a creepy bastard towards starfire in every episode i catch on tv. ttg is not a good tv show for children. it appeals to them through humour and designs and easy to follow storylines but that doesnt make it a good show for children, especially when they pass off someone like robin as a protag.
There was another episode where Cyborg was shown stalking Jinx, like he knew her favorite bands and foods and what she smelled like?? And they basically put a highlight on stalkers because even though she pointed out it was creepy, and he said “I know” in a comedy bit to brush it off, they ended up dating happily.
What is that teaching young boys and girls? That stalking is okay? That stalking is romantic? Come the fuck on.
These are legit complaints.
The old Teen Titans actually showed good morals while this… just…

A 103-year-old orca whale named “Granny" has been making some serious waves this week, after she was spotted traveling for 800 miles off the coast of Canada with her pod. The centenarian, also called J2 by researchers, has not only astounded people with her age, but by disproving SeaWorld claims that orcas typically live up to 25-35 years in the wild.

That’s the original version of Bucky from the 1940s, back when child endangerment was the most popular part of superhero comics. When Captain America was brought back decades later, however, teenage sidekicks were considered deeply uncool, and Bucky was unceremoniously written off by explaining that an airplane exploded on his face. That’s how few fucks Marvel gave about the character: Not only did they kill him off-panel, but they actually allowed him to stay dead.
That wasn’t enough for 9-year-old fan Ed Brubaker, though. Bucky was his favorite character, and he spent years looking for the issue where he died. When Brubaker found out that issue didn’t actually exist and Bucky had essentially been killed off in a footnote, he made a solemn promise: “If I ever write Captain America, I’m undoing this mistake.”
Cut to about 30 years later. Brubaker made a name for himself writing gritty crime comics, but was finally offered a job as a Captain America writer. Guess what the first thing he did was.
