Are there any sites/programs you would recommend as particularly helpful for the GISHWHES team effort?
What’s important is that you all stay connected and can reach each other at a moments notice. The first choice would be a mass group text, but as international texting fees and different cell phones get in the way, a great alternative is the app WhatsApp. It’s free (for the first year, then you have to be $.99USD for every following year) and reaches anywhere in the world. WhatsApp allows group messaging, no matter where you are or what phone you have, and basically let’s you keep your teammates in your pocket. Plus, it helps everyone stay in touch when the hunt is over.
Another (personal) go to service is Google Docs. Google Docs allows anyone on your team to edit and make notes to the document, so I strongly recommend posting the GISHWHES item list onto a Doc once the hunt starts. Then, each member can highlight the items he/she is doing and record progress, this way, everyone knows what’s being done and what’s left to be done. I equate a lot of my teams success last year to the use of the Google Doc. Everyone knew who was doing which items, how many items left to go, and if any items weren’t picked up by anyone. Very, very handy.

When Dean Winchester finally dies (for good, this time), Death takes a holiday.
He spends a week going to every fair and carnival in the continental US.
He eats every deep fried concoction possible.
When his holiday comes to an end, he goes to Heaven and knocks on the pearly gates with the head of his cane. He asks to speak with Dean Winchester.
Dean is surprised to find Death there when the angels bring him forward. Death swore that their last meeting, when Death personally escorted Dean’s soul to Heaven, would be the final time they ever saw one another.
“I found it,” Death tells him. “The perfect pie. It was in Muncie, Indiana. Apple, with a flaky, golden crust. The ratio of cinnamon to sugar and its balance with the tart Granny Smith…. it was just perfect. Divine, even.”
Dean stares at Death, unsure of why he is telling him this, but then he looks down. In Death’s hand is a wrinkled, white paper bag. Inside the bag is a slice of the perfect pie.
Dean takes the bag, mystified.
“Thanks for the pickle chips that time,” Death says, then disappears into the void.
did you just give me Death/Dean bromance feels
#And Dean turns back and walks back into the gates#He treks up an inclined road until it flattens and curves around#When he reaches his heaven Dean raises a free hand above his head and yells #’SAM#CAS #LOOKIT! PIE!’ (x)
Wouldn’t it be great to go travelling in this?
i think it would be neat if netflix doubled as a dating site like “here are 9 other singles in your area that watched supernatural for 12 straight hours”

Advice #85: A great way to rallying your team is to come up with some branding. Create a logo, use a series of colors to represent your team, have a symbol. Having some sort of branding creates a sense of team unity and creates team pride. But how do you create branding? Firstly, start with your...
