There were, of course, flags that the people closest to you were able to notice, but Mark was an entirely different story.

It wasn’t like he didn’t care whether or not you wanted to go out or visit his friends. Mark wasn’t a stranger to a healthy emotional state or a lack thereof. It was your fear of letting him see the truth that was your only secret from him.
