The only problem is we might feed the delusion a little too much. Could you really do that to all the poor people who'd be rooting for us, only to watch their dreams go down with the ship? You're so kind, man, thank you. I'm really proud of what we did with it, it's a beautiful movie full of love and hope. But the response to it is more than we could've ever dreamed, honestly.

This is weird because you and I haven't talked directly. But Cody mentioned your dad played against pops in Softball once or twice? I wanted to extend the offer to you and your pops to come down to the ranch Dusty owned. I got a bunch of cool Wrestling gear, and it'd be nice to have some company other than my dogs and my wife at the house. I heard you're in Texas, right?
❛ Dude, nothing weird about it at all. It's not every day a legend like yourself reaches out. He did! I had no idea, even though my dad and I were huge wrestling fans growing up. He brought it up the other day, and I had to make sure he wasn't just making up stories to score some extra cool points. Holy cow, man... that would be absolutely incredible. We'd be truly honored to come down to the ranch. Whenever I'm not on set for my next project, I'm back home in Austin, Texas. It helps keep me grounded. My dad and I would absolutely take you up on that invitation. Just let me know when you're free, and we'll make it happen. And please let us return the favor somehow. A fellow Texan, hi! First of all, I want to know everything about getting to voice Fox in The Super Mario Galaxy movie. Would you say voice acting is harder than on-camera? I have minimal experience with voice acting, in the form of my little animated Lizzie from the Disney days. All I really remember is loving how you can show up in your pajamas. ❛ Texans in the hizzy! There’s just something about a proud, loud Texan... am I right? What part of Texas did you grow up in? Honestly, I think on-screen acting is tougher. With voice acting, you can get comfy, go completely over the top, and no one sees you making all those ridiculous faces. On camera, every take is there for the world to see, so you’ve really gotta be on your game. That said, both are a blast. I had so much fun voicing such a badass fox in one of the coolest animated movies. It also scored me some serious uncle points, which were long overdue. I mean, I've always been the cool uncle... but the kids needed some fresh material. And don't even get me started on the Lizzie McGuire reboot. I'm still salty we got robbed of that. We deserved to see Lizzie all grown up, figuring out adult life just like the rest of us. ❜

Yes, oh my goodness! That would be correct and I am so excited for everyone to get to see it! If they were into the original I’m sure they’ll love this one too. I mean, in the heat it is pretty crazy and some of us have taken a wipeout in the sand already, haha, but with my gymnastics skills I know I got lucky. It’s been so much fun. The lovely red swimsuits are all a part of the aesthetic and a part of the mood so I mean I can’t really knock them for bringing them back especially because everyone knows they are iconic.
❛ I can only imagine the amount of sand that gets everywhere. I mean, it's basically impossible to spend any time on the beach without finding sand in places it has absolutely no business being. One fall, one sit-down, one dramatic run down the shoreline... and you're discovering sand for the next week. So, are you telling me you may or may not have had a few wipeouts, but you were talented enough to sell them as graceful little gymnastics moves? Because honestly, I respect the commitment to the bit. I can't lie, though—that alone would be reason enough for me to join the cast. Getting to wear one of those iconic red swimsuits and then casually having it hanging up at home afterward? That's the kind of memorabilia you proudly display forever. It doesn't get much more legendary than that. And with your gymnastics background, how many of the stunts did you actually get to do yourself? Or did they still bring in a stunt double for some of the bigger sequences? I feel like I'd be lobbying to do as many as they'd let me before someone inevitably told me to stop showing off. ❜
