some abled people love to say “we don’t mind disabilities, chronic illnesses, we know it’s not your fault!” until you start flaring up then suddenly you’re an inconvenience, you never show up, you’re always sick and can’t be relied on. it goes the same way for mental illnesses. “we’re here for you even when you have your episodes” until you have an episode and suddenly you’re the problem because you showed your mental illnesses. some abled people love to preach how they don’t treat people with disabilities different but actions speak louder than words
Asking for touch as an aspec is so weird like “hey, please touch me, but not in a sex/romance way, just in a human contact way. Interact with my body’s touchscreens. Punch me in the face or something. Please. I’ll take anything at this point.”
Edit: of course everyone here has blanket permission to tag this as Blorbo from their Shows. We love seeing representation, implicit or explicit.
I can't help but feel like I'm grieving the person I was before my health started to decline and they haven't even figured out what is wrong with me yet.
