Digging through RD supports over at Serenes Forest. For some reason royals and other characters with titles are much more likely to be adressed with unique support lines. An odd choice, but it does give us some fun unique lines between people who otherwise wouldn't talk to one other.

Now that Path of Radiance is more accessible than it has been in years, it's time for some Naesala appreciation! Still grateful I could borrow the physical copy from a friend back in the day.

This is actually a piece I did back in 2020 for a Secret Santa event, but never uploaded here. I was super happy with it back then, and it aged well too! Also I really like Naesala. Even beyond the simple fact that he can transform into a bird, which already gives him bonus points in my book hahah.

I regularly seem to have a weak spot for FE characters that are not impressed by or even skeptical of the player character or main lord, because oftentimes they aren't that promising early on and questioning them is the rational thing to do lol. Especially when that is backed up by their own skill, and you find out that underneath that first impression of arrogance is someone who despite their flaws tries to do their best for their own people, and tends to come around when joining up with the player army actually becomes a sensible choice. Too specific? Nope, there's several characters throughout the series that fit that bill lol.

yeah I love to write about real losers who suffer. my characters suffer and get real comfortable in their suffering and become worse people as a result. <3 but still find weird love.

draw, meh, it gets frustrating because sometimes I can’t quite make them look how I want lol. writing them is on and off! when I feel like my characterization & direction is strong, it really flows! but boy does the writer’s block, in fact, block stuff
