okokokok so I just got through PoR chapter 17 (6 hours and it was 4am by the time I got through all of it) and like...several times I had a situation where my reinforcements deployed at that same time as where an enemy spawns. What an absolute gauntlet that chapter is lmao I honestly wish modern FE games had the balls to throw something like that at you without warning, but man would people bitch about it. For the uninformed, Day Breaks is a chapter at roughly the mid point of Path of Radiance where you essentially fight through four consecutive maps in a row with no chance to resupply or reorganize your squad or anything. This is in a game with weapon durability, mind you. The only mercy the game gives is that, after the first map, you can start calling in 2 additional back-up units for help each map. It's brutal and I love it.

Anyway, to your point- YES the angst potential here of being in separate waves of such a desperate conflict is absolutely delicious, trying to catch glances of one another amidst the chaos, desperate for just that moment of confirmation that- yes, your lover is still standing, still fighting, and you'll get out of this together... ugh, so good. I always forget that that's the first time fielding the bird Laguz- what an introduction, just absolute mayhem and then this new element arrives, and the heart-fluttering potential of one of them catching a glimpse of you and somehow it just catches in his mind... Maybe he's stunned by your strength, your determination. Maybe you just look beautiful with that smudge of your enemy's blood across your cheek and your hair wild around your face.

Just popping out of the anonymous to appreciate Senri Kita's artwork of FE 9/10.

I ADORE how she draws not only very hot characters, but also gives other characters their personally and even feel lifelike based on their artwork alone.

Like Sanaki for example, she may be young, but you can see the energy of a young empress and how she carries herself! Also I love the amount of ruffles in her artwork!

Or even Nepheene, you can tell she's a soldier, but also the body language shows she's a bit shy in some aspects!

Oh, it is ALWAYS a good time to glaze Senri Kita around here, she's my absolute art idol as far as character illustration goes. When I mention that to friends of mine who are familiar with my own art, they're always like "oooohh yeah that makes sense" because I just CAN'T HELP IT, her influence on my own taste and style is so powerful. In like middle or high school I used to just sit and stare at the character illustrations in the POR players guide, taking in all the little details in the figures, the folds and textures in the clothing, everything. She even has my favorite weapon design sensibilities in the series-- they're interesting and dynamic looking without seeming cheesy or so impractical as to be immersion breaking.

And ANOTHER THING- the women (really all characters, but especially women) that Senri Kita illustrates are beautiful and sexy without looking like ridiculous caricatures and several of the FE franchise's artists could stand to learn from her.

Oh my God it has GOT to be the LeahxReaderxElliott (SDV) threesome idea, I've been itching to do this for foreeeeever but I feel like I just never had quite the right vibe, and it'll probably take a fresh Stardew playthrough to get the creative juices flowing. It's just such a lovely dynamic- I feel like Leah would be very gently confident, like she knows what she's doing and communicates well, and can guide the action in a way that makes you feel so comfortable and cared for-- and meanwhile, Elliott would just be so overwhelmed in the cutest and hottest way with two lovers, but just so eager to please. Well obviously reading and gaming. Other than that, I'm a huuuuge tabletop fan, and I'm currently DMing one DnD campaign, playing in another, and playing in a Cyberpunk RED campaign. Also a Call of Cthulu game that's been on pause for a while. Oh I was also WAY into a GTA online roleplay server for a while, which was a fascinating experience. I've worked professionally on everything from graphic design to theatre painting and even have some of my illustration work published in a medical science paper, but my fav is just... idk, drawing hot anime people. Man, regrettably, I have not managed to play any of the FF series yet, which is honestly shameful of me at this point lol. My top priority is FF8, since it was strongly recommended by a close friend (said friend and her now-husband actually performed that waltz scene at their wedding reception, it was so lovely <3), but the hilarious thing is that as of now, my experience with the franchise is limited to second-hand Kingdom Hearts exposure and, erm.... Advent Children hahahaha

God Advent Children was such a bizarre experience for someone coming at it from a KH-only knowledge base. I just really adored Reno (because I'm an Axel fucker) and basically every scene of him and Rude still fills me with joy. That scene where Reno steps on Rude's sunglasses and you can watch in the background as he looks horrified, stands up, and silently pulls another pair of sunglasses from his pocket and puts them on, just kills me to this day. I don't know if I would call Advent Children good, per se, but it does spark joy.

8. if you had to write a sequel to a fic, you’d write one for…

So I've mentioned this before a while ago, but I have this old-ass little fic I did of a modern AU first date with Seteth, and I had, like, a prequel and sequel all planned for this. But then I got busy with requests, then lost steam for the idea, etc. etc.... so yeah, man, if I had all the time in the world for writing and could harness my fixations more efficiently, I'd love the chance to fill this out, especially since I rarely do anything so fluffy.

15. favorite weather for writing

To be honest I just love rainy/stormy weather in general, and that definitely extends to writing. When drawing, I have a constant stream of vids playing in the background, but I can't mentally handle that while writing, so instrumental music or a bit of ambient noise like rain is really, really nice.
