Holiday headcanon
just did some frantic googling to see if i could swing any french rev related holidays but i think super secret commemoration possibly doesnât count for this. so. enjolras forgets about holidays 100% of the time when he goes without reminder and though he was generally a good catholic as a kid, christmas is weird for him because it is very close to his birthday and therefore the death of his mother. christmas in the enjolras house was weird for a long time in fact. combeferre loves christmas because he associates it with Familial Warm Fuzzies. their first christmas together is like, 1829 maybe? they go to mass  and then go to combeferreâs hospital-sponsored housing and cuddle. it snows. enjolras falls asleep with his head in combeferreâs lap and combeferre thinks itâs The Best Christmas Ever I Have An Angel Sleeping Soundly In My Lap Thank You Jesus Christ For Blessing Me In This Way
Cooking headcanon
i flip flop between âneither of them can cook i hope theyâre okâ and âenjolras can fend for himself but combeferre cannotâ and âcombeferre is an excellent cook but enjolras is absolutely notâ so there you go
Sleeping headcanon
ENJOLRAS = KOALENJOLRAS
THAT IS TO SAY: enjolras, when asleep, latches on to the nearest human and does not let go. he is a cuddle monster. and he doesnât even KNOW heâs a cuddle monster because no one ever told him. when he wakes up half on top of combeferre & embracing him for dear life, heâs like, wow, i sure do move around in my sleep a lot.Â
combeferre loves it. combeferre loves him so much. also combeferre sleeps like a log. when he is out he is out. but when he wakes up heâs always refreshed and ready to start the day

combeferre bathing enjolras is so cute and i love it with all my heart and life. same vice versa but i feel like i usually think of it that way. if enjolras is bathing combeferre itâs in a returning the favor kind of way

ALL THE TIME??? THEY ARE TOUCHING WHENEVER THEY CAN if enjolras and combeferre are next to each other they are touching. they hold hands a lot. they walk arm in arm a lot. they do manly communicative shoulder clasps a lot. theyâre more comfortable touching each other than not touching each other. also i donât remember if it was lara ( @alouettesque ) or rebecca ( @ambling-nymph ) that made this headcanon of theirs that iâve adopted known to me first but. but when enjolras and combeferre have an argument or a serious talk or Anything, enjolras puts his hands like under the table or away or Wherever so combeferre cant reach them. its good yet sad
Physical appearance headcanon
enjolras has one in the book but i will Elaborate: his hair is Newborn Infant blonde. like. the blonde that blonde people have when theyre babies. super super fair. and its sometimes a fashionable length and sometimes its not but its cutely wavy always. his eyes are light blue not dark blue. sometimes they can seem greyish depending on light. heâs Tall but thatâs canon lol
i can get behind most combeferres but my combeferre is Definitely rocking the spectacles look. his hair is either dark brown or mousy light brown depending on what i feel about him on the day. blue-brown hazel eyes or dark brown eyes. sturdy - not like, tall, heâs shorter than enjolras, but heâs got muscle on him and heâs very stable looking
Wardrobe headcanon
enjolras wears a lot of black grey blue and beige. in fact enjolras almost exclusively wears black grey blue and beige. his trousers are beige usually. at least he gets that right. also everything is tailored well and high quality bc The Boyâs Got Money
combeferre on the other hand wears a lot of black brown blue and green. but usually darker blues than enjolras ? i also think maybe he has like, a pink or purple waistcoat somewhere that he wears under another waistcoat sometimes when hes trying hard to be fashionable and also he doesnt have to be anywhere near cadavers that day
also. they both wear hats. i forget this all the time but hats were a thing

enjolras is really good at dancing. or rather. he would be. if he ever did. No Dancing For Enjolras. he goes to a ball at some point and dances something slowly very nicely with a girl who he doesnât care about at all and then retires early, leaving all the other girls wanting to dance with him
combeferre is decent at dancing but only when he knows what steps to do
dances in 1820s-1830s paris were like. hoo boy. so intense. i dont think either of them did intense fast fun dancing
