your edit colours are super pretty, i love them a lot! do you mind me asking what programs you use and if you have tips on how to make psds or how to find resources for editing like frames and borders, or elements for rentry graphics?

thank you very much ! the program i use primarily is photopea, which is a free alternative to photoshop (if you have access to photoshop, that may be better) and i use ibis paint x to make my masks like these.

as for making psds, mostly it just helps to familiarize yourself with the program you’re using ! most of my psds have a variety of types of layers, like so:

but if you want a simpler psd, you can also just use a gradient map or two, which i did here. making psds is mostly just about finding what works for you :)

i typically find elements for my rentry graphics on pinterest ! key words such as “rentry overlay” or “overlay png” can help a lot. i use ibis paint to remove the background and make them transparent. otherwise i tend to use photopea’s shape tool for additional details. you can see in some of my more complex icons like these that i use a combination of the shape tool and some pngs !

you can also find masks for rentry graphics here on tumblr by searching for things like “rentry mask” or seeing if editors you like have a resources tag ! happy editing !
