like idk as someone who lives in florida who remembers the reaction AT MY SCHOOL even from the adults after the pulse shooting and honestly just the casual negative treatment of lgbtq people and clubs and everything i wouldn't want to come out either. i think dream being a very publicly hated figure whose address has been leaked time and time again not wanting to go online and discuss his sexuality is honestly very reasonable and the idea of people being against this or even just not understanding it is baffling. leave him alone

anyway, I love dream. I love that he remains calm and collected even when he's visibly frustrated by not being extended sympathy. I love that he is kind to others, even if they see it as patronalistic because they idealize him in their minds. I love that he's unlabelled and proud of it, and that he hasn't let the way coming out culture is vicious get to him. I love that he is constantly trying to improve and hearing less priviledged voices. I love that he is a light of informed and well articulated opinions in the middle of chat-GPT level responses and less than 280 characters debates. I am sad he's constantly put on the spot and in the middle of drama, and I hope he can take a break from working on content to relax and be happy. I love dream soo bad
