Stop perpetuating the idea that avoiding eye contact = lying. Some of us are just autistic and shouldn't have to force ourselves to make eye contact just to avoid being called liars.

Same goes for fidgeting. It doesn't necessarily mean someone's lying or nervous. It could just be the result of neurodivergence.

I used to think that love should hurt, should be dramatic, that it needed ups and downs to be adventurous love that would make life worth living. That is not love, that is chaos. I need emotional stability, emotional support, I need to be able to give it and receive it. If I have to constantly fight to make someone understand that I want affection and respect, this person is not for me. And it's okay. It's okay to want peaceful love. It is so much better than walking on eggshells, it is so much better than constantly fighting, or being constantly scared of saying the smallest thing that turns into an endless fight.

It is okay to want to settle down in a calm relationship. It doesn't make you boring at all. You can go to real adventures on real life places holding hands with the one who loves and supports you. You go on these adventures together, please don't believe that the adventure is trying to convince someone to love you and winning. That is not adventurous, that is a heartbreak waiting to happen.
