WIP Jacket!

I got this denim jacket for my birthday last year and while I typically wear black I can’t pass up making another battle jacket! I finally made the time to sew down the first layer of flannel (originally one of my favs but had no longer fit) and then cut out and pinned down the second layer (another old and now ill fitting flannel). The plan is to make some goblincore, cryptidcore, and autumn critter inspired patches along with the ones pictured (gifts from my lovely bf <3), I may also snatch other patches from preexisting jackets that may fit the vibe. More updates to come! >:)

A Friday scorched carpet moth 🔥🦋🐈 to flap into the weekend with you.

This species feeds on spindle, a common hedgerow shrub here. Its colours look like a lot of bird-poop mimicking species. Birds love to eat moths - but I guess they don't eat their own crap, because so many small critters mimic it to avoid predation.
