Ca Event: Feathers and Fur [closed]
.. wait. Bird snacks?
DAVESPRITE: bird snacks DAVESPRITE: oh my god i could really go for some bird feed right now jade you have no idea DAVESPRITE: or i guess you do DAVESPRITE: snausages are to you as bird feed is to me DAVESPRITE: wait that sounds really stupid DAVESPRITE: i probably had to hear that aloud to realize how much of a bird i really am
Her question caught him off guard, nearly throwing him back into an uneasy silence. He wasn’t stupid enough to not know this wasn’t the Jade from this city, and just as this Jade had said, they were all coming down here to kill them. Only one could survive; it was a concept that he knew all too well. There were deeper roots to his initial surprise, but hey, he wasn’t going to clue her in on that.
DAVESPRITE: … DAVESPRITE: didnt you just say everyone was coming down to kill us DAVESPRITE: i mean hey i might be a bird but im not birdbrained DAVESPRITE: youre from the mirror verse or whatever the fuck its called DAVESPRITE: this is some persona class bullshit right here DAVESPRITE: i didnt sign up for the clone wars DAVESPRITE: or maybe i did maybe there was some fine print on that waver i never signed upon my arrivial to bee hive city DAVESPRITE: is that even legal
DAVESPRITE: okay anyway DAVESPRITE: i think ive wasted enough of your time lets move on to business DAVESPRITE: get down to business to defeat the huns DAVESPRITE: whats the plan DAVESPRITE: what the hell am i doing
“Davesprite, I feel like you fail to remember just how similar our predicaments really are. I know exactly how stupid that sounds but I also know how much I would actually kill for some snausages, so I get you. It is a stupid feeling when you realise just how animal like you are. Kind of embarassing and not that enjoyable. I will personally get you some bird snacks though, I know the exact ones you like best.”
With a small sigh, Jade titled her head to look up at her own city. She was very capable of killing with just the snap of her fingers, even with her powers less strong than they were back in her world. But that didn't mean she wanted to do that to the people she used to care about...again. She'd at least give the ones she ran into here a chance. She couldn't say the same for those she didn't know.
“I did say that, and it is a completely true statement. I don't think any of us really signed up for being kidnapped and taken from our timelines in the first place though. Personally, I was having a good time in mine, everything was going according to plan. Not my plans, of course. But me and Jane, we knew we weren't the ones who were going to get the spoils there. Well...who knew what was going to happen after we truly lived out our usefulness but...”
She looked toward the streets, ears twitching as she heard a riot closing in on their location. In about a second after a flash of green, they would find themselves in a completely different part of the city on top of a building. She still didn't look toward him, her gaze instead looking out toward the fake city she was in.
“That is easy. The plan is a simple one. You just kill. These people here?” She pointed out over the building's edge. “The citizens of this city are outstaying their welcome so it is easy, we purge them and clear them all out. Like this.”
Jade held her hands out, levitating a part of wall that had broken off below. Hands moved in L shapes, spreading apart as they framed the object, causing it to enlarge. With an air of careless amusement she floated it over a group of people on the streets and slammed it down on them.
Time and space
godbarktier
Well, he wasn’t dead. That was a start. This was all too much and it was happening too fast. But at the very least he wasn’t alone. Knowing that Bro was out there fighting as well put his mind at ease, even if only a little. But he was still worried about everyone else. Terezi, Aradia, John. And most of all, Jade.
Dave avoided fighting as much as he could as he rushed towards the sixth sector. The place where he and Jade spent most of their time together. It was the only place he could think of to look for her. And for the moment, it didn’t seem to be overrun with crazies from another world tyring to kill everyone. But no sign of Jade either.
“Jade? Are you there?! Come on dog girl, don’t make me worried. ”
It was way too familiar, yet at the same time somehow worse. She actually shot someone. A living person. An actual human. Death wasn’t necessarily foreign to her but...there she was with that person’s blood splayed across the dark fabrics of her God Tier dress. It wasn’t meaningless, she knew that. It was done to save other innocents around her amidst the chaos. Yet the one thing she kept worrying about was her friends and...Dave.
A similar thought crossed her mind to check in sector six. Bright green flash as she teleported over to it. With her powers unlocked she was free to flash from place to place at the speed of light. White ears perked at the spoken words from a familiar voice and she teleported straight in front of him, immediately flying at him and hugging him tight.
“Dave! Dave I have been looking for you! I am here now! So don’t worry! See? I am fine! Are you okay?”
The act of taking tea had never been one the original Once-ler ascribed to. Yet the foreign inhabitant of the Otherworld did happily ascribe to this practice at the behest of his Queen (and varying company). So now at a table normally poised beneath a rolling blue sky did the emerald-coated CEO find himself alongside a rather agreeable companion, all the makings for a proper afternoon tea splayed upon the tabletop before them.
“Have you been to the other Hive, Jade?” Curiously was this question voiced, on account of their new horizon’s consequential incapacity to ignore it. For beyond every window the image of their mirrored city weaseled its way into sight and mind. “I wonder if its lands are even worth saving…once the people occupying it are done away with.”
godbarktier
Tea was always something relaxing, even the smell of it made her smile slightly. It was hard maintaining a good level of evil while being in the company of people she didn’t necessarily hate. At least ever since she’d changed back in her own world. Bright green eyes stared down at the table then up to the window as the other spoke.
“Actually I have. It is pretty stupid, but that is just the opinion of one doggy girl. I can’t say I am too fond of the thought of a fake me running around over there but I also can’t say I haven’t already had multiple version of myself existing in my knowledge.”
“Hmmm...” She drummed the fingers of one hand against the tabletop as she thought about the question. “I suppose it has potential. There are a few lovely places with lots of greenery which is something I enjoy. Do you think anything is worth saving? Saving for ourselves, that is. Not for the current inhabitants... That was probably a given though, whoops! What would you personally define as ‘worth saving’?”

With a sly grin, the girl floated over to face the older troll. She was fairly certain he was powerful, if her memory of other trolls was anything to go by. So, of course it would have been pertinent to get him on her team to absolutely wreck everything in the other city.
“Come ooon. Don’t you want to go over to the other city? It is just sitting there in the sky like so much unexplored (and undominated) cityscape. You should at least go look at it. Aren’t you curious at all? There is also most certainly and factually some fake you running around and pretending to be you, doesn’t that bother you at all?”
Generally, Aradia tended only to speak to Jade for extended periods whenever there was something like this going on– not that she didn’t like the other Godtier, far from it. But some things just made talking… awkward. Still, if anyone was all about creative misuse of their powers, it was Jade, even when she was pretending that she wasn’t. In the moment she appeared beside the other, she did her a favor, stopping anyone who was trying to run in place with a snap of her own fingers, tilting her head toward the other. “By all means.”
Watching the van drop reminded her of the days she’d spend wrecking parts of Equius’ hive as stress relief, and almost as if nostalgic, a flick of her wrists has a line of parked cars flipping over and toward storefront windows, crashing into or through them entirely. Not quite as satisfying as it used to be, no– but still fun. “I don’t see why there’s anything wrong with it! After all, it isn’t like they’ll be alive to use it after we are done!” Words delivered with cheer, she makes her point by pushing her hand down, hearing the bodies beneath the van Jade had enlarged begin to crack and squish by the weight being further forced down on top of them. “Want to break some more?”
Jade watched with amusement as her current companion smashed cars through windows. Though her smirk grew into a grin as she continued her violence, listening to the sounds she created. It sure had been some time since she’d been able to let lose with her own powers. Even if they weren’t at the max she was used to. Beggars couldn’t be choosers, could they?
“Hmmm...you are incredibly right my troll friend. But first I think maybe they should be deader. Because they seem much too alive to not be using this place.”
A hand raised, pointing a finger out like a fake gun. A crackle of green electricity ran over her hand before she shut one eye, aiming a finger and “shooting” it at a lamppost then at a person running for their lives. In a flash the post found it’s way straight through them. Moving on, she did this shooting motion toward a few others who were running in the area.
“I do, indeed, want to break more! What exactly would be the best thing to break, though? What would you start with? Should we take down a building? Work on getting this section of the city under our thumbs?”

For the moment she was working on protecting who she could while fighting back. Her priority was keeping the citizens of Hive City alive but it was proving difficult on her own. Raising her hands, she levitated two large vehicles, smashing them together and placing them on the ground in front of a group of people to act as a makeshift shield.
A gasp left her as her gaze met with the familiar mayoral figure. In a flash of bright green she teleported in front of him, throwing her hands up at the incoming chunk of building falling toward him. It shrunk down to the size of a pebble as she moved her hands, glancing back at him as it simply fell to the ground before them.
“Hi again, Mayor! Are you okay? Don’t worry, I am not an alternate version of me or anything and also I am going to protect everyone.”

Fingers raised in L shapes as a bright green wrapped itself around her and the object she framed. As her hands spread further apart the van enlarged and levitated in the air.
Jade squinted at the people below her, citizens of this other world they were supposed to purge. With her powers unlocked, why couldn’t she have a bit of fun with this? Her head tilted to the side, throwing a smirk toward another as soon as she sniffed her scent in the air.
“Woof! Hello, Aradia. Are you having a similarly amazing day? Hold that thought, I am in the middle of being particularly evil.”
Her hand lowered quickly, slamming the vehicle down onto a few people below.
“I was kidding about that, if that wasn’t apparent. I am just doing my job. Do you think it is okay if we mess this place up? Maybe we should do it anyway. It is kind of fun. Stress relieving sort of. Who thought destroying property would be so much fun. I should write up my own citations for myself.”
{alt} Would you look at that, things were heating up down there in the streets. Fighting, killing, all that fun jazz are you right? Yeah you are. Whatever, looking at it all from a roof was pretty fun. Maybe you’ll jump in the carnage again soon. Hell, from the looks of it, carnage was coming to you.
And apparently they knew who you were, but the thing is–with those words that meant that she was from the other city. And that meant that another Dave was out there.
Disgusting.
How many times did he have to die so you’d forget him entirely? How much alcohol did you have to drink to forget that day? To forget how you fucked up?
Clearly you hadn’t had enough yet. That irritated you, so you weren’t really in a chatty mood. But if this mutt could help you locate this other Dave, then so be it–you’ll play the part of the good little guardian for now.
>>cant really explain
>>cant help being dragged to a city
>>honest im looking
>>for him too
Kujo here better be useful. If not you’ll have to do away with her like you deal with everything else that ticks you off.
By making sure they’re not around to annoy you any further.
You grasped your katana and sighed. Hopefully your counterpart wasn’t known by this kid. If you got found out, you’d have to end things, stat.
>>guess i can
>>help you look
Boy was this just a touch awkward. Not so far as meeting guardians and alternate versions of them and everything. It just felt...weird. She wasn’t sure why. Maybe because she felt like it was a breech of friendship to be meeting him here first. Wasn’t that something Dave should have done? She shifted her weight, ears falling a bit backwards.
“Yeah...you are right that was kind of a dumb question, right? But that is me, Jade, asking the questions that do not need to be asked. I think he will definitely be happy to see you though!”
She offered him a smile, her ears perking up again. “Well! Looking for him together would be a better idea anyway! Especially with everything that is going on right now. We can protect each other as well as the other citizens and also look for him. I was heading to look in sector six, I think he likes to hang out there some times but I think anywhere is really game right now. I just hope he’s doing all right. Where have you looked so far?”

Davesprite had his suspicions, and she had all but confirmed them. The notion that he had broken her heart by breaking up with her made his stomach turn and twist, but that was paltry by comparison of everything else going on around them. With dizzying chaos enveloping the city in it’s harsh grasp, he really didn’t have time to take a trip to self pity city. That would have to wait until after. When everything was said and done and one of the worlds was left in rubble and ruin.
It takes half of a fraction of a second for Davesprite to realize that she’s from the other city, the one reflected in their sky like a mirror. Weird, apparently murderous alternate of her or not, she was still Jade, and her words stung. She still cared? Well, enough not to want to kill him.
DAVESPRITE: you dont DAVESPRITE: huh
For a split moment, it looked as if he was going to fight. The blade lodged in his chest was removed, grasped in both of his hands tightly as if he were poised to strike.. except, he didn’t move.
The blade was dropped to the ground a moment later, splattering the rooftop below them with a mixture of his own bright yellow blood and the ichor of others. He was done.
DAVESPRITE: okay ill bite DAVESPRITE: what kind of perks do i get in the doggie army DAVESPRITE: does it come with a 401 DAVESPRITE: how many vacation days do i get
Jade stayed calm, simply eyeing him as he spoke. That was up until he moved as though he might attack. Her arms dropped to her side, fingers taut as though she was ready to attack with her nails while a low growl left her mouth.
The sound and stance left as quickly as it came once the sword was dropped. Her ears twitched, one flopping to the side as she tilted her head in question. Well, that wasn’t expected, but she felt he was making a smart choice here.
“Yes, Davesprite, there is a full 401k and also dental and health benefits. It certainly keeps our doggy teeth clean. Not as though there are actually others like me but... You get vacation days after you’ve killed enough of these lousy doppelgangers in this fake city. I mean, I guess. Who knows?” She let a small growl out and shook her head. “Why am I even entertaining this. You are such a dork. The real perks here are that you get to live and maybe sometimes they give you snausages or maybe we can get you some bird snacks...”
“Wait, why are you so surprised I don’t want you dead?”
Non stop infinite stabs [EVENT OPEN]
“Oh, for the love of shit.”
This was the absolute last thing anyone needed. He’d been worried about what might have happened to her in the middle of tall this, but this is even worse than he expected. Having Jade going Grimbark now of all times was bad news. That meant that the batterwitch probably wasn’t far behind. But then the thought runs through his mind. Was this even his Jade?
“Please tell me that isn’t you. Or like.. My you. From my City. Because I will shoosh pap a motherfucker if you’re being forced into this fuckery again.”
She contemplated for a moment whether she should tell the truth. Being more blunt in this state always rendered her more truth pushing in a harsh way, but maybe it was time to have some fun. It’d been a while since she’d seen her own Dave anyway, being that he was dead and all.
“And yet in the face of imminent danger you remain as silly as always. I, however, am your Jade. I am the Alpha Jade, the true Jade if you want to be very cliché and dark about it. But I am afraid your adorable little shooshes and paps will not make me go back to the Jade I was before. You see, I’ve done so much already, there is no going back and why would I? No one is forcing me any more, I am my own me, Dave.”
She held up a hand just outside of him, snapping her fingers then opening her palm. Someone behind him screamed in pain before collapsing to the ground as a green light emanated from them, then above her hand. In a moment the unimportant person’s insides plopped onto her palm and she squished it.
“You have two choices here, Dave. Come with me. Or fight me. I don’t exactly see many other ways of going about this.”
Ca Event: Feathers and Fur [closed]
The air in front of him crackled with harsh, neon electricity before a familiar silhouette phased in right in front of him, blocking his path. The green and the sparks of electricity gave way to a familiar face, not one that he particularly wanted to see again anytime soon. Not after the sparse, awkward conversations he’s had with her as of late. Eugh. She’s obviously different; her voice is more harsh and hostile, and not to mention her appearance, but he can’t tell if this is the fault of the rift in the sky or if this is her, for real.
DAVESPRITE: … DAVESPRITE: for fucks sake oh my god it never ends DAVESPRITE: what do you mean i shouldnt be here DAVESPRITE: i mean yeah i shouldnt be here i bought the farm but thats notwithstanding to the topic at hand DAVESPRITE: .. DAVESPRITE: no what the hell DAVESPRITE: what am i gonna get treated better in your little doggie army than i already am treated here??? DAVESPRITE: no i dont think so jade DAVESPRITE: im not gonna fight you either put your lethal doggie force away DAVESPRITE: what the fresh flying fuck is going on here
“Look, I am not going to pretend what happened between us didn’t happen. Because it did and you broke my heart. I mean, you are kind of lucky I didn’t say anything before. But here I am in your birdy presence pretending as though I don’t really want to chase you right now and putting the cards on the table.”
She sighed, crossing her arms and frowning at him as though he was wasting her time. Which he was a little, she had things to do people to kill and things to convert into her own personal minions. Oops, her city’s personal minions.
“I said that because everyone from up there.” She raised a hand to point upward with a sharp nail. “Is coming down here.” The finger swooped downward. “To kill all of you. And truth be told, I don’t want you dead. So it’d be easier if you would just cooperate right off the bat here or I will use force. Killing one Dave was enough, I don’t want to have to do it again, but I will. So make your choice.”
unabscondable liked for normal!Jade!
It was chaos everywhere she turned. And try as she might to help everyone at once, she just couldn’t keep up with everything. She watched as people fell left and right. Granted, she didn’t know any of them but that was no excuse and it was still incredibly sad and upsetting.
Red clad feet left the ground, ears drooping backwards as she had to flee the scene. She didn’t want to die. She didn’t know if she’d come back this time or not and even if she knew she might it was still not a good thought. Dying over and over sucked and it was something that happened quite a bit to her already. She thought this place would bring peace, or at least less insanity than “home”.
She floated over the veritable war below before she saw a flash of someone familiar on the rooftop nearby. Feet touched the roof a bit away from the man as she looked up toward him.
“Dave’s...bro? Why are you here? Have you seen Dave? I...am kind of worried about him.” She wouldn’t mention that Bro was supposed to be dead. Dead people seemed to be turning up in the city left and right anyway. Instead, the girl clutched the strap to the rifle on her back tightly, biting at her lower lip.
If you want to interact with Alt!Jade like this post! If you want to plot pls send me an ask or hmu over at my twitter. You can read about this Jade here. She’s antagonistic and aggressive so if you thread with her she may attack or threaten, so tread with caution if you’re not good with general violence or violent words/aggression. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a fight thread though. I’ll send an ask to anyone who likes this to see about plotting and stuff!!
Like this post if you want to interact with Hive City!Jade! If you want to plot pls send me an ask or hmu over at my twitter. This Jade will be helping people and fighting for the city. If you need protecting, she’d be a good source of it too! Her powers and everything are outlined here. I’ll post another ad for Grimbark!Jade in a minute.
Hive City!Jade: Her powers are unlocked, but not to their full extent, since she is already p damn OP in canon. She uses telekinesis, teleportation and can shrink/enlarge anything as well as basic magical flight. She also has a hunting rifle with her. Her powers and everything can be found here. She has a lot of VERY helpful powers, so she’ll be helping cittazens out as best as she can and fighting to take back hive city. If anyone needs someone to protect them, she definitely will!
Alt!Jade aka Grimbark: She has all the same memories as Jade and also is aware that she is Jade and everything. She IS Jade, but she’s been mind controlled so she holds loyalty to her imperious condescension. This has changed a bit as she will now be very loyal to her own city, seeking to actively destroy and antagonise the citizens of Hive City. She is ruthless and more aggressive and in tune with her dog traits than regular Jade. Her skin and ears are dark grey and her teeth are sharp like a canine’s. She will bark, growl and chase people more than regular Jade. She has the same exact powers as Jade but will use them in more aggressive and malicious ways, still with the same caps as well though.
[SPOILERS]
This grimbark Jade never stopped being Grimbark and never died. She, along with her Jane, accomplished their goals in their timeline and she ended up being the cause of a few of her friends’ deaths. She is harsher than regular Grimbark Jade, having lived after that moment and after her friends were gone as well as living in the other city.
Non stop infinite stabs [EVENT OPEN]
After about the fiftieth or so stab, he was convinced he’d gotten rusty. Daves were dropping like flies. And if there was one thing he and every other version of himself despised, it was dead Daves. For all their power, they’d been without it for far too long. Not to mention not having really fought since coming to this city. And on top of that the fact that he was worried about his Bro, John, Jade and the others.
Dave wasn’t fit for combat. Not today. But he wasn’t here to kill. He was here to stop. He sides with those who was against the fighting on oth sides. Who wanted to find another way. And he was sure it was the right decision. He and his dopplegangers summoned through various timelines where they fought instead (And lost every single time) stopped as many enemies as they could. But there were still too many. Slowly, but surely, they were being overrun.
“If there was ever a time for a miracle, it had better happen right motherfucking now.”
As if on cue the area surrounding Dave turned a familiar bright green before there was a scenic change in where they stood. She’d give him a moment before appearing before him since this one was personal. She couldn’t let a bunch of nothings kill him, now could she?
Before teleporting in front of him there was just one thing that echoed,
“Woof.”
“Well, I wouldn’t exactly call it a miracle. Hello Dave! Sorry about all the Daves, it isn’t personal on their part. Well, maybe it is a little personal, as in they are personally trying to take over this place.”
