Thoughts don’t create things. You give life to every belief you hold to be true. You lead. Your thoughts don’t mean anything until you add meaning. If thoughts are what created things, all those crazy intrusive thoughts would eat so many of us alive. You only job is to notice when your thoughts contradict your desired end. You decide what has meaning and what affects your physical experience. It’s okay if you have a bad day and get in your head. Nobody is positive 24/7. It’s part of the human experience. Recognize that it’s just a moment and you are STILL all that you desire to be.

One of the best ways for me to create affirmations is to just sit down and write them down without stopping to think about them. I write down whatever comes to my mind and then I just repeat them whenever I feel like it. I don't try to think what the best affirmations might be. My desires are already on my subconscious mind so I might as well let it come up with the right affirmations for them.

Affirmations should feel natural to you. That's why letting your subconscious mind tell you what to affirm can be the best option for you. To me, using affirmations that weren't mine felt like I was forcing myself and trying to convince myself that it's true instead of admitting that it is a fact.

Don't feel like you need to repeat affirmations that coaches or other people have prepared for you. Do what feels natural and effortless.
