Okay, so I’ve been in the TVD fandom for over a year yet I gave up, and now for the past month or something, I got back on my feet and here I am. Honestly, I just reached 415 followers yesterday and I felt really proud of myself. I know there’s some blogs who get like 200 in their first day ( over exaggerating ) but it took me awhile to get here and I’m proud of myself. I’d also like to say thank you to all of you for being there for me when I need it or rping, or even putting up with my consent complaining. Thank you.

We are always told to use body language in our writing. Sometimes, it’s easier said than written. I decided to create these cheat sheets to help you show a character’s state of mind. Obviously, a character may exhibit a number of these behaviours. For example, he may be shocked and angry, or shocked and happy. Use these combinations as needed.

You guys, this is such a great chart especially for budding writers. Sometimes it’s more effective to show a character being bored or excited or shocked without explicitly saying so.

Elena was tired, but she was still trying to train herself. She used the bow and arrow, but still couldn’t keep a good grip or let it go with a good amount of force. Her fingers were going to have blisters but she refused to get gloves to lessen the blow until she could learn how to do it. Pain to teach herself. Only it wasn’t working.
She barely heard anyone approach until she glanced over from her squatted position in the grass, her head turning but not looking up as she fiddled with the weapon. “This isn’t a pretty sight, believe me”
Diana always went out into the woods after school to shoot her bow and arrow. It was always something that helped her get rid of the stress she was under. What she really didn't expect was to see someone already here. She glanced at how the mystery girl held her bow and almost instantly realized she was holding it wrong.
She squatted down next to her, placing her bow down next to her on the grass. "I remember my first time with a bow, I had blisters on my hands for weeks." Diana managed to let out a small laugh, before glancing at the bow. "Try relaxing your hand that's holding the bow, you're putting to much force in it."
