This is an actual Digivolution path by the way

During my playthrough of Digimon Time Stranger, I went in knowing next to nothing about Digimon. One thing I did know was Digimon evolution was wild, but I didn't quite have a grasp of just how wild it could be.

This is a less weird route, but imagine you're just a little rabbit thing then another you're a 7 foot tall biker gun lady. (Dream pipeline right there)

I started playing Tomodachi Life, and got the challenge to make one of my favorite Digimon.

Beelstarmon is one of my favorite Digimon not only for her appearance (if you know you know), but also for her personality. Her outfit, weapon choice, and battle tactics are all just for the aesthetics. She's not evil, not even malicious, just extra and I love that about her.

Gyro: Johnny, the secret of the spin is sacred and is just that. A family secret.

Another Region Variation: Mawile and Mawdusa

Mawile is one of those Pokemon that I feel could have a lot of potential for regional variations, so I went ahead and made my own.

Mawile: The Jaws Pokemon

Dragon Poison type

Abilities: Intimidate, Strong Jaw (Snake Eyes (Lowers the opponents' chances for bonus effects to occur)

The large serpentine head that sprouts from the main body of Mawile does not have a mind of its own. It can however sense the world separate from Mawile itself, letting it see, hear, and smell in multiple directions at once. Its venom may not be potent, but instead it is an acid powerful enough to melt stone.

Mawdusa: The Gorgon Pokemon

Dragon Poison type

Abilities: Intimidate, Strong Jaw (Snake Eyes)

Its mastery over toxins is unmatched, each head specializing in a different kind. The two larger heads do most of the fighting, while the two smaller ones act as extra limbs. In ancient times it was thought to be able to turn stone into its own slaves, although this seems to be a myth rather than a fact.

As much as I like this concept, my stylist stopped working properly halfway through drawing this one. Nevertheless I'll still have more to share.

Terrors of the tundra: Glaclet and Nivorex

Dinosaur pokemon with a surprising twist.

Glaclet: The Squall Squire Pokemon

Dragon Fairy type

Ability: Snowbound (Removes the user's Ice type weakness during a snowstorm)

Despite not being an Ice type, these ancient and bizarre Pokemon still make the frozen tundra wastes their home. It seems as though these areas were once much warmer but gradually froze to what they are today. The change was apparently slow enough for these Pokemon to adapt and survive without a problem.

Nivorex: The Blizzard King Pokemon

Dragon Fairy type

Ability: Snowbound

Despite its size, Nivorex is an apex predator. Its dense feathery down keeps it warm when the wind picks up. They've survived countless generations, thanks in part to their ability to devour almost anything. It seems like Piloswine is their favorite.

If you probably couldn't guess, this current region I am working on is based in the high Arctic, where survivability is a very high priority. I've got a lot more in the works so stay tuned.

Sparkit, Emberslash, and Solashé

I like designing starter Pokemon. Here is a different Fire Starter line, based on red pandas, a little raccoon, and fencers.

Sparkit: The Tiny Ember Pokemon

Fire Normal type

Abilities: Blaze (Drought)

Sparkit is a timid, yet curious Pokemon. If it smells something it likes, it'll sneak toward it cautiously. If caught, it will blow out a small plume of smoke before scampering off. Its fire powers may be weak, but they grow considerably hotter in direct sunlight.

Emberslash: The Apprentice Pokemon

Fire Normal type

Abilities: Blaze (Drought)

It has learned to make a crude sword out of dried bamboo. While not the strongest weapon, it helps make up for its weaker fire capabilities. If the weapon breaks, it'll simply discard it and create a new one on the spot.

Solashé: The Sunblade Pokemon

Fire Normal type

Abilities: Blaze (Drought)

Signature attack: Sunlight Skewer. Type: Fire. Category: Physical. 10pp. 70pwr 90acc. The user launches its weapon forward at the target with astonishing speed. This attack's power is doubled in harsh sunlight, but cannot be used twice in a row.

Its bamboo rapier is not a prized possession. They're expected to break, so Solashé is always ready to fashion another at a moments notice. They harness the power of the sun into their blade to set it ablaze, amplifying their own power substantially.

Grass starters: Spramb, Vertiram, and Verdarok

I mentioned I like designing starter Pokemon in a past post. Here is a Grass starter line.

Spramb: The Lamb Pokemon

Grass type

Abilities: Overgrow (Rock Head)

Despite living on rocky cliffs, Spramb is not a very good climber. Nevertheless it practices climbing and leaping from ledge to ledge, aiming to get stronger.

Vertiram: The Scaling Pokemon

Grass type

Abilities: Overgrow (Rock Head)

Vertiram is most comfortable hanging off of sheer rock walls or overhangs. Their hands and feet have adapted to be non-slip, so they will never lose their grip. If they do slip, they just turn themselves head first in order to cushion the fall.

Verdarok: The Scaling Pokemon

Grass Rock type

Abilities: Overgrow (Rock Head)

Large, heavy, and imposing, Verdarok is actually a pacifist in the wild. However when they do need to fight, they simply let gravity do the work for them, falling head first onto their opponents. They're incredibly strong and have been seen carrying Aggron up a vertical rock wall with little effort.

This trio is part of the trio Sparkit belongs to. Once I finish the Water starter's line I'll show them all together.

Rattalactus, Maractus, and Jambaractus

Rattalactus is a baby Pokemon who can evolve into Maractus, or a new regional variation.

Rattalactus: The Cactus Bud Pokemon

Grass Type

Abilities: Water Absorb, Chlorophyll (Storm Drain)

This Pokemon prefers warm climates and rough dry soil. It doesn't need a lot of water, so they're popular among those who travel a lot. Apparently in colder regions it will evolve differently.

Maractus: The Barb Cactus Pokemon

Grass Steel type

Abilities: Water Absorb, Iron Barbs (Sun Proof)

In cold regions, Maractus takes this form. Their bulbous bodies are tough and insulated, keeping them nice and cozy in harsh weather. Often seen as a symbol of survivability, the native people would use their shedded spines and status symbols.

Jambaractus: The Barb Cactus Pokemon

Grass Steel type

Abilities: Water Absorb, Iron Barbs (Sun Proof)

Only a Maractus who has survived the harshest weather can evolve into a Jambaractus. They're often seen dancing without a care, even in the middle of a blizzard. A compassionate Pokemon, they'll use their hardy bodies to shield smaller Pokemon from the wind.

I'm not sure how well this idea was executed, but I think it was alright. I'm not sure how well people like my designs to be honest. I'm going to keep posting them though.

Swarmophore

A concept I had never really seen before

Swarmophore: The Hundredfold Pokemon

Bug type

Ability: Hive Mind

Swarmophore, while appearing to be a single entity, is actually composed of hundreds of tiny, defenseless organisms. These tiny organisms have never been observed alone outside of Swarmophore, so little is known about them. What we do know is they move and operate as a single unit, shifting and almost oozing during battle. The structure on Swarmophore's chest seems to act like the hive itself, as all of the tiny organisms flee into it if in immediate danger.

This was an idea I had a bit ago and I'm personally pleased with how it turned out

Misdreavus: The Facade Pokemon

Fairy Dark type

Abilities: Prankster, Levitate (Soul Stealer)

Don't be fooled by this Pokemon's seemingly innocent nature. The moment you take your eye off it, its devious schemes start coming to fruition. Supposedly, they can steal people's souls right out of their bodies, though this hasn't been observed.

Mismagius: The Facade Pokemon

Fairy Dark type

Abilities: Prankster, Levitate (Soul Stealer)

They make their homes deep in cold, dark, water. It's said that when children wander too close, they emerge. At first they pretend to be friends, but eventually they steal them away, carrying their souls in the bag on their backs back to their watery domains.

A bit of a curveball, but I do like these designs.

Zapermine and Thundermine

Early game electric types anyone?

Zapermine: The Grounded Pokemon

Electric Ground type

Abilities: Scrappy, Strong Jaw (Thick Fat)

Zapermine, while cute, is quite a ferocious Pokemon. It'll take on opponents much larger than itself, and charged by its electricity, it can keep fighting for hours without getting tired. They love to steal burrows made by Bunnelby.

Thundermine: The Grounded Pokemon

Electric Ground type

Abilities: Scrappy, Strong Jaw (Thick Fat)

A feared and aggressive Pokemon, Thundermine will eat just about anything it finds. Its powerful jaw muscles help it crunch through frozen meat and bones. They're most active during thunderstorms, though they seem to fear only the rain.

Mienfoo, Mienshao, and Mienreika

Regional forms plus a new evolution for one of my favorite Pokemon

Mienfoo: The Martial Arts Pokemon

Ice Fighting type

Abilities: Slush Rush, Inner Focus (Tough Claws)

They've become accustomed to living in the far North. So well their bodies have become cold to the touch. Their paws are well equipped for running and fighting on ice.

Mienshao: The Twist Pokemon

Ice Fighting type

Abilities: Slush Rush, Inner Focus (Tough Claws)

Although stronger, its ability to maneuver across the slickest terrain has its drawbacks. It lacks the stamina needed for long matches, so it tries to make due by gaining momentum for stronger attacks by spinning. The fur on its wrists seems to be a leftover from previous forms and will one day disappear from this form altogether.

Mienreika: The Twist Pokemon

Ice Fighting type

Abilities: Slush Rush, Anger Point (Tough Claws)

After honing its skills to the max, Mienfoo is finally able to evolve into Mienreika. Not much has been observed about this solitary Pokemon in the wild. We do know however these Pokemon have traded agility for stability. Their spinning attacks however do gain enough momentum for their heavy claws to strike hard. The fastest speed recorded was just shy of the speed of sound.

Qipipup, Qimusled, and Armaroq

Here's a dog line that I'm actually a bit proud of. Dogs are not easy for me to draw, so I am quite pleased with how these turned out.

Qipipup: The Playful Pokemon

Normal type

Abilities: Fluffy, Stamina (Frost Shield)

Qipipup is a very popular Pokemon among younger trainers thanks to its loyalty. Their curled up tails store extra heat so they can keep going even in the coldest weather.

Qimusled: The Worker Pokemon

Normal type

Abilities: Fluffy, Stamina (Frost Shield)

It has an incredible amount of stamina. It can run across barren, snow covered wilderness for days without stopping. An old story says a group of Qimusled helped pull their trainer across the region to deliver medicine to a sick village. Since then, they're often regarded as heroes.

Armaroq: The Endurance Pokemon

Normal Rock type

Abilities: Solid Rock, Stamina (Frost Shield)

Only Qimusled who have bested the harshest of challenges- and gained unyielding trust from its trainer- can evolve into Armaroq. It is bothered by nothing and will withstand days of freezing temperatures and bone rattling wind if it had to.

Like always, if anyone wants to do fan-art I always would love to see it. I'm planning on posting a lot more in the coming days too.
