For the people who are part of radfem communities who exclusively talk about how they hate heterosexual women for being attracted to men, they hate bisexual women for choosing men, they hate asexual women for being annoying, they hate women who are religious for buying into their own oppression, they hate women who shave their legs and wear makeup and dress for the male gaze, they hate women who support TIMs, they hate women who identify as trans men or non binary or whatever, they hate women who don't want to learn about feminism:
You have fallen into the patriarchal trap of blaming women for problems men caused. The patriarchy is wholly and exclusively the fault of men. There is no famous bisexual woman, demanding asexual woman, or ignorant tradwife who could EVER do evem close to the amount of damage that males do every single day.
If your "feminism" is just about criticising women who are ignorant to the patriarchy, you're not a feminist, you're just looking for the right women to hate, just like everyone else.
The second wave turned off so many marginalised women because we were all expected to play happy family with women who oppressed us in other ways. It was viewed as divisive to bring racism and homophobia within the movement up. Spare me with the “men will always do worse than women” so we can’t speak about the women who throw other women under the bus to choose men each and every time. Bisexual radfems could choose to date women instead but they STILL mostly choose men. Radical feminism is just a hobby to y’all. That’s why it’s meaningless today. Because you can’t keep away from men without getting to pretend you’re a lesbian for it.

Yeah and I think straight/bi radfems deliberately overestimate how many are saying the latter to detract from the many more saying the former. Most people are going to disagree with the latter. It reeks of the same argument people have about how “bad” saying gold star is: “well there are some calling non-goldstars xyz” - yeah, a tiny group on anon forums from their parents basement, never ever having sex with a woman themselves. But guess what isn’t a small percentage? The amount of bisexual radfems never dating women despite being radical feminists and apparently understanding how bad men are - and if they do date women they think they get to claim lesbianism.
I’m a lesbian and not a radfem though I kind of orbit around radblr. I agree that it’s pretty unlikely to meet a woman hating on bi women that way if you get off your computer and go into the real world. honestly if we were having this conversation 3 years ago I’d have agreed with you wholeheartedly however the last couple years I’ve been seeing a lot of misogyny like that from women even though I go out of my way to not see it so when I see OP talking about women who hate straight and bi women I assume she’s talking about the women who actually are being hateful
I think it’s just really convenient for them to act oppressed by lesbians because they get anons calling them cocksuckers. Who could literally be anyone. And yes by anons I mean anonymous blogs too. If they want support for their jakeys then they can go out outside where the whole world claps women for loving men.

I’m referring to a wider well known issue in radical feminism that someone would have to be wilfully ignorant to not see. If someone wrote the same thing but said people can’t hate white women, and they can’t be blamed for racism due to men, who do you think she’d be addressing? Other white women? Come on. Obviously it’s ok for non-white women to have issues with white women and it wouldn’t be misogyny for them to. The same with lesbians and male-attracted women.

This is correct. My post wasn't about lesbians at all. I'm a lesbian myself, and the people who attack other women for dating men actually tend to be 4B women. But regardless, my point was that you shouldn't attack women about the patriatchy because all women are victims of it, and no women created it. Men created patriatchy, and men are 100% to blame for its existence.
Bringing race into this is disingenuous and misses the point of the post. If women want to discuss how white women perpatuate racism and set up systems of racism, then I highly encourage that, because racist systems are generally set up by white people. What I said was that it's misogynistic to blame women for a system they did not set up.
Attacking male attracted women pretty much never happens. The attacking is usually done to women who chose to date men, either by 4B women, bisexual women who only date women, or lesbians. This attacking is misogynistic, because it focuses on women choosing to date men rather than the men themselves who are the actual problem.
What is happening here is like you're inside of a burning house and complain about the air being hard to breathe. Yes, air pollution is a problem, but the bigger problem is that the house is on fucking fire, and the air is not going to be any easier to breathe unless you put the fire out.
Bisexual women and straight women being lesbophobic is a problem, but they are almost all like that because of the patriarchy. If it was made illegal for women to date men tomorrow, but absolutely nothing would change, because the men are still there being the real problem for lesbians.
My overall statement is that **If you call women slurs, if you dehumanise women, and if you are are attributing the faults and atrocities of men to the women who date them, that is misogyny.**
