Hi everyone! My name is Citrus & I'm a Transmasc Ashkenazi Jew. I made this blog to sort of separate my Jewish posting from my main blog. I will mostly post about politics, cooking, history, and all things jewish on here. Some things to know about me:

I consider myself to be somewhere between Reform & Conservative, but I'm still in the process of connecting with the religious aspects of Judaism.

I love to cook and will likely be posting pictures of the dinners I make along with some recipes!

I consider myself a non-Zionist. I am in favor of a two-state solution. That is as far as I will go with answering questions about my stance on I/P on here. Maybe if we become friends, I will talk about it more.

I live in the US and that's as far as I'm comfortable talking about that for now.

I do not agree fully with everything I reblog. Some posts will include one or two sentiments that I disgree with, but the message of the post is still true.

I probably have adhd, and I also have some physical disabilities that I will not disclose unless we are mutuals.

I make a big point of the importance of community solidarity between Jews of different philosophies and theological branches within the tribe... But I have to admit that I will absolutely go for the jugular at the mention of the words "teacup mikveh" or "kohenet movement"(<-actually a neo-pagan movement in Jew cosplay).

The Kohenet Movement try to hoodwink well meaning Jews who don't know better by using the language of Women's liberation and Queer liberation, but under a thin Jewish aesthetic it's literally paganism with prayers to Lilith and Asherah... And more. Teacup Mikveh is literally from the Kohenet "Queer Mikveh Project".

I have two modes

As was pointed out in the tags, Rebekah Erev and JVP would have people believe that you eating a pickle is itself a kind of Mikveh. Fermenting food is pretty much the furthest water can get from being Mikveh compliant.

Sound Mikveh is also a WTF... Chanting in a circle according to JVP is apparently also a Mikveh, no water needed. I imagine JVP nidah is you just go to your monthly circle of cultists with kazoos.

The thing is, I do want Netenyahu arrested. I do think he's a war criminal, and I do think Israel would be better off with him behind bars.

But I want the Israelis to do it. I want the Israelis to get a chance to handle their problems themselves. I want Netenyahu to have to confront the material harm that he's caused to his own people, and I want those people to have their justice.

And I think it’s important to point to the fact that nobody saying this photo is a “Palestinian woman in Ramallah” has any actual source or background on the image. The ANU database states that it’s from a collection of photos from a Jewish family. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a photo OF that family, but it’s from their collection of photos. So like…… ok
