I don’t think I would be the main character of a story, I don’t think I would be the side character of a story. I think I’m suppose to be like the tragedy that occurs in the story. Like the one that gets run over by the bus or whatever. Like do you ever feel like an imposter by existing? I don’t think I’m meant to be alive right now, honestly. And yeah, I’ve been suicidal always had suicidal thoughts and ideation. Even before I knew that there was a name for wanting to die. I felt suicidal before I even knew suicide was a word. So is that how my story was supposed to go? Was I actually supposed to go through with it and then just didn’t so now I’ve had a crazy nexus event so I’m here but I’m not supposed to be? Mobius….where you at?

I just love your OCs so much and I love Kraken and the whole idea for him. So was hoping and maybe wondering if you’d ever write anything for him. I always fall in love with your characters.

I do intend to write for him! Just working around the ideas I have for him!

So, here’s the thing. I write a lot of fanfiction, but I’ve also tried thinking of original books to write. But I have this issue where anything I do is inspired by someone else. And maybe it’s just a confidence problem, because I find it hard to be myself.

But where is the line between, inspiration and copyright? Like in fanfiction copyright is kinda thrown out the window because anything you do automatically belongs to the original fandom creators. But still I read all these great fanfics that people write and I’m like “I wanna use that for one of my stories” or “This is a really good idea but maybe we could do it this way or that way” or there are just some stories that go unfinished but I’d like to see it be finished. But then I worry about, what if one of the creators who used that idea comes back and is upset that I also happened to use that idea. I don’t know, this sounds stupid now that I’ve written it out. But does anyone else think about stuff like this? Or is it just me and the tendency to overthink everything?! Please let me know

So, I thought it was time to show everyone what ‘17 looks like. I tried to make him a mix between Crosshair and Tech. Since he is basically that and I am basically that and I am basically him. He can sense infrared a lot like a snake can. Which will soon earn him his name. Plus being really small(four year old size while he’s actually eight) helps him to squeeze his body into small places much like a snake.

This is a section from my Fanfic The Corrie Guard Chronicles, it’s the first time ‘17 is in the base on Coruscant:

The medic he was following stopped outside an open door leading to a room of some kind. Blurry outlines were all he could really see, but bright colors on the walls caught his attention. He moved around Vendetta to get a better look and marveled at the mix of colors. They flowed together brilliantly, the colors used creating an extraordinary blend that reminded ‘17 of the waves of Kamino. The way the waves seemed to move and the way they crashed. Especially on the clear days when you could see the broad sky stretch over the planet. The warm sun shinning brightly.

While he was not particularly fond of that planet, he could not deny the beauty of a Kaminoan sun setting across the broad waters. Brilliant colors painting the sky. ‘17 never saw the little details, his sight being a great hinderance. But perhaps the colors blending together in a giant blur of sky enhanced the beauty. That’s what ‘17 liked to think anyway.

Be only realized that the medic had stopped his conversation when he felt the heat signature move away from him.

“Hey kid, you coming?”

‘17 tore his eyes from the mural and continued to follow the medic. A sad feeling settling in his heart at having to leave such beauty behind. Especially because he would likely not see it again.

Does Tech have ulterior motives?

Okay so I just came up with the wildest theory after reading @feltpool post about Tech.

To start off, we already know that Tech records things. Hunter mentioned this in season 7 of the clone wars. Stating that it was a hobby of his. Here's a quote from Wookieepedia to back my statement up. "He also made an effort to record all sentient sounds he encountered, which Hunter described as a "hobby" of his." Okay so Tech records things. Big deal. It's just a simple little hobby right?

What if (and remember this is just a theory) Tech got a recording of order 66? The problem with this is we don't know if he's always recording or not. We don't know if his helmet is continuously recording or if he had to turn it off. For the sake of this post let's say he did get the recording. Now what? What could Tech possibly do with the actual order 66 announcement? If he had ulterior motives then he could use it to control the clones. Maybe even his brothers. Maybe he could even turn it in for some credits. Idk. He could also have other top secret recordings. Like battle plans or even telling Omega that she's a fist gen clone. He's got to have a ton of dangerous and incriminating evidence from his recordings. It could be used for a variety of things. Like bringing down the clones or capturing Omega. It reminds me of how the Techno union used Echo. Only this time it depends on whether he willingly gives it up or not.

One last theory I'd like to share happens during the removal of the inhibitor chips. Let's pretend that Tech does have the order 66 recording. He probably wouldn't want his brothers to get their chips removed right? So what does he do? He alters the machine. That odd little headband device he made that he claimed would help locate the chips? That actually isn't it's purpose. He created it to enhance or reduce the chip's interference levels. During episode of the Bad batch, Tech puts his headband on Wrecker. It could have been interfering with Wrecker's chip instead of scanning for it. He needed to create a distraction so he could mess with the machine. Wrecker had already been groaning about his head hurting. So Tech simply out two and two together. Did he expect to be hurled across the room and knocked out? Probably not. Maybe he wasn't even knocked out. Maybe he faked that too. Or he just wasn't out for long. Either way, once everyone is out of the room he gets to work. He makes sure the machine won't remove the chips. Better yet he could alter it so it subdues their influence until he uses the recording. All the machine has to do is make a little cut so it seems like it worked. Rex didn't know how long he had been out for when his chip was removed. So Tech could have them stay in the machine long enough for it to make it seem like they were removed.

Now why would Tech be doing this anyways? Maybe the Kaminoans had it planned out from the beginning. After all they did have the inhibitor chips put in in the first place. Maybe he got tired of being pushed around by his brothers. Tired of being told to shut up. Maybe he had a reason to hate the Jedi or maybe his "exceptional mind" realized how corrupt they were. He might even be working with Crosshair from the sidelines. It's even possible that his chip activated at the same time as Crosshair's. They both look the most alike compared to Wrecker and Hunter. Besides why would only one chip activate in the moment? It doesn't add up.

So I leave you with one final question. Does Tech have motives that haven't been discovered yet? Or is he simply the resident genius of the Bad Batch? Only time will tell. Aka season 2 of tbb. Yes!! I think that this is entirely possible based on how you described everything. Honestly I really like this theory and if it happened in season 2 I can’t tell you if I’d be made about it.(probably not)

Okay so I posted this on Instagram and TikTok those posts show this video clip. But I’m still going to make it everyones problem on here too. So in season 2 episode 13 of Rebels, there’s an imperial officer that pays off the Protectors(time stamp is around 10:24). That officers voice sounds JUST LIKE TECH!!! We checked and he was indeed voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. Sooo, did they have the same voice on purpose? Was it an accident? Really good foreshadowing? They are both just British? I don’t know, but it freaked me out a little.

Then, if you know me. My fan fiction brain starts going and now I’m like: Does Tech join the empire at some point? Might explain why the squad isn’t entirely in Rebels. Of course they could have been there and we wouldn’t have known it, or they just didn’t join the rebellion at all. Settled down somewhere and started a farm.

But the point is that this COULD have been Tech. Maybe he’s working undercover. This imperial seemed particularly interested in Rebel activity. But of course they all were at the time I suppose because the Rebels were a big threat. But now I’m thinking….if this could have been Tech then in fan fiction……maybe he never reported the Rebels being in the system at all? Maybe he’s working on the inside to assist the Rebels without their knowledge with Crosshair, and Hunter, Wrecker, Omega, and Echo(even though I’m not sure if Echo could have lived that long 😔) are hunkered down at some rebel base and their like waiting for Techs next message to come through. Maybe Tech and Crosshair update them on things like, where the Empire is so the Rebels don’t come too close, what rebel cells are doing what, where other Rebels are located. I don’t really know, but I do know that it would be kinda cool if it was Tech. As long as he isn’t like full on evil empire.

So, I just thought that I should be clear that this will be the main place that I post random thoughts and just all kinds of stuff. But it will also revolve somewhat around fics too I guess. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t really know. I guess we’ll find out.
