With the input of a friend of mine i tried to design two OC wich are ment to be characters in a sort of "AU" wich takes place after Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, with Geno as the leader of the main group, since Mario, Bowser, Luigi and Peach disappeared.
- Mako Story:
Mako was part of a gang of pirates, founded by him and his best friend Poipoi (later renamed himself Captain Poison). However he ended up being betrayed by the whole crew while the gang was searching for a mythical treasure. Marked as a traitor for refusing to hurt the innocent locals of the island to interrogate 'em with the intention of getting infos on the location of the treasure Poipoi and the rest of the crew tied him to a palm tree while they ran away to keep searching for the treasure, however they mysteriously disappeared once Mako freed himself, even their ship is still on the island. Since then Mako took good care of the ship despite what happened with his comrades, as for him the ship symbolize all the good moments they had together. The main characters find Mako on the island, while cleaning the ship and after they formed a sort of friendship with the shark by helping him to clean the whole ship from top to bottom, they'll try to convince him to join them on their advernture to save the Mushroom Kingdom from the manace of Count Bleck. Mako will refuse at the beginning, since he dosen't want to abandon the ship he treasures so much, however things will soon change as Captain Poison will reappear. The Captain got lost in the jungle of the island where the rest of the crew met their tragic fate, being the only survivor now he wants to run away with his ship from the island that he's now scared of, the main team + Mako will fight against the captain and win, however after a talk between the two old friends, Poipoi will ask to be forgiven, finally realizing that his greed brought nothing but tragedy in his life, losing all his friends. Mako will forgive his old friend and will accept to join Geno and his friends to help them in thier adventure, accompaning them by using the ship along side Poipoi just like the good old times.
- Mako skills:
Mako is a fighter that likes to use his brute strenght more than any kind of refined combat style. He has the ability to scare the enemy with his violent temper and body size and stealing an item from them. Mako also posesses the ability to summon a small tsunami to sweep away the enemies.
Peperita comes from a distant kingdom called "Sweetzie Land" where most of the inhabitants and buildings are made out of candies. Peperita is a singer, she didn't have much success in her kingdom so she decided to try to build her singer career in the Mushroom Kingdom, however she came to the kingdom during the worse time possible, as she arrived after the takeover from Count Bleck. However, despite the obstacles she became very popular among Count Bleck's goons. When the main characters meet her she seems a very sweet and gentle girls wich likes to speak a lot about her dream and her huge success. Much like Mako before her, she refuses at the beginning to join Geno and the others to save the Kingdom, since she dosen't want to loose all the audience she gained, despite being told about what Count Bleck and his soldiers did to the land and the locals. However things will change once Pepperita realizes that her "fans" mostly like her because of her looks and good smell, clearly not caring at all about the songs she wants to sing. Peperita gets furious about discovering how much of a scum Bleck forces really are, so she explodes in rage, releasing her more aggressive side: changing her look into a more gothic style. The main group + Peperita will have to face 100 enemies in a big battle and after winning, Peperita will join Geno's group with the goal of finding an audience that will actually like her music
-Peperita Skills:
Peperita uses her voice to activate certain spells. When she's in her good mood all her spells consists of healing spells and boosts spells.
When Peperita gets angry she uses her voice to hit the enemies with shock waves, making them pass out due to the amount of noise, plus she gains the ability to use electricity with her magic.
