Day 3 reflection. It's weird that it's only day 3. Today was good. I have this thing about eating the same things all the time for dinner, so I strayed from the meal plan but it's ok because it was still loaded with veggies and within my calories. I did gluten free pasta and it was tasty. We had kickball tonight and I skipped the beer and also the fried food at the bar after! That was the hardest thing today and I'm super proud that I passed on the bad food and it wasn't even that hard! Yay me! I had a sugar craving at work today so I had an iced latte with honey. True #motivation 😜 But for realz. Here are my thoughts on day 2. Still feeling great, I wasn't hungry after dinner today, I think it helped that I was sure to have an afternoon snack of some substance (hummus and carrots!) other than that there wasn't much of a difference in my day. If anything I worked out more today than yesterday. No cravings yet, but it is only day 2. We shall see! Mmmm gimme all da #strawberries! Reflection for day 1: I felt good today, as I tend to at the beginning of these kinds of things. I wasn't hungry throughout the day at all, but after dinner I was still super hungry. I think because that was the first time I actually was sitting down a lot all day. I'm used to eating until I'm full, so I think it's going to take some time to retrain myself to just eat until I'm satisfied. Portion control will be my biggest thing during this #28dayjumpstart for sure. I'm excited though, I think this is the most liveable lifestyle change I've embarked upon. Trying paleo and low carb multiple times always worked in the beginning but was too difficult to maintain in my real life, so I appreciate the flexibility of this and the idea of just eating #wholefoods as a general rule.
