Other people: What if Kirie is at the center of the Spiral and being associated with her makes you more likely to get contaminated?

Me: Kirie never shows any signs of being anything other than an unfortunate but otherwise completely ordinary person. But you know who does have an unexplained connection to the Spiral? Shuichi. And the only people whom he seems to consider close to him (the Goshima family, especially Kirie) are the only people to ever get contaminated by the Spiral and actually recover. What if being close to Shuichi heightens one's immunity to the Spiral? Better yet: what if that's why Azami got so obsessed with him after she got infected; she realized on some subconscious level that he could, at least temporarily, cure her, and more consciously misinterpreted this as sexual attraction? Let's take this even further. If Shuichi was an active member of Kurôzu-cho's community and if the townspeople liked him, would the Spiral have taken longer to destroy the whole place? Would it even have been able to? We don't know the full extent of Shuichi's abilities.

in twilight, its very heavily implied that the length of the wolves’ fur is determined by the lenght/haircut that their human form has, so all the wolves chop off their hair when they turn to avoid looking like mops i guess

here’s a thought then: what if they intentionally get an uneven haircut? would their fur be uneven? what if they shave off a side of their hair. how would that translate to the wolf body, if we take into account that the scalp = the whole body. Would one of their legs just randomly be shaved? would it just be a random hairless patch instead? what if they had dreads. what if they had cornrows. stephanie if youre out there,

I’ve seen many posts reminiscing about how buckwild Twilight was but somehow nobody seems to have mentioned the matching family jewelry?? that for some reason the movie’s costume designers thought it made sense that all of the kids would casually wear a family crest to school every day and nobody would say anything about it?? as if five weird antisocial adopted teenagers who skip school a lot and are all dating each other doesn’t just SCREAM cult activity??? if Charlie Swan hadn’t wanted to bang Carlisle he would have CPS on that family in a heartbeat, thanks for coming to my tedtalk

maybe that’s their trick? maybe every time they move to a small town they all take turns strutting and casually draping themselves over furniture in front of the chief of police until they figure out which one of them s/he is most attracted to and then that cullen (usually carlisle but sometimes esme. once, memorably, jasper) is responsible for keeping cps off their backs for the next five years.  emmett calls it operation fuck the police.
