Sorry for the lack of posts…I’ve been extremely burnt out for reasons not related to art. It has left me extremely exhausted physically and mentally. It’s mainly just a heavy workload in a short time limit. I’ll be fine, please don’t worry! Once I get enough rest and can focus on things that are not convention related, posts should resume. HIII!! Still invested in the cozmez Allen au so i must question everything i can...
How different is Allen's character compared to the original? What behaviors does he assimilate from Cozmez and what remains? Is he less cheerful and less "annoying"? What i'm sure that remains is his infinite passion about music for sure XP
Also! What do the twins consider him? Their brother like Akyr consider eachother? Or just a really close friend that is part of the family?
Also what happens to Anne and Hajun? How does Allen see them?

Hello, thank you for your questions! Feel free to ask as many as you like, don’t worry!!
Allen is a bit different in this version compared to the original canon. He isn’t a talkative person, using his intimidating face as a means to keep people away from him and the Yatonokami brothers. From a life of privilege to surviving on the streets, his perspective on things has warped significantly. The wealthy are a group of people he doesn’t take too kindly towards. After a life of being forced what to do by his parents, he won’t let it happen again. He has also resorted to physical combat as a means to defend himself. The Sugasano family name has no means when you’ve left your family and are now living on the streets.
Despite all of the new hardships, he is still extremely passionate about HIPHOP and deeply loves those close to him, though he shows it through his actions rather than words mostly. However, he can always be bribed out of his aloof nature though discussions of his passions, and will make it very clear how excitable he is. His excitement can be overwhelming for the introverted twins at times, but it’s an aspect they’ve grown used to.
As for his relationship with cozmez, he’s a close friend who lives with them. Think of a situation similar to Itsuki with the Miyama Brothers. He has taken a lot of inspiration from them; from how he dresses, to his demeanor and overall antics as well. Nayuta sees him in a more brotherly context, usually telling him secrets and light gossip about Kanata just to annoy him a little. The two love to tease him. Kanata and Allen have a bit more complexity to their relationship. The type of dynamic that doesn’t really have a name to it. It exceeds the usual platonic relationship, but isn’t something necessarily familial or romantic, it’s just…more. They don’t need to label it anything, they’re just close. (Take that as you will 😉)
For Hajun and Anne, they are still very close friends to Allen. No matter where their story takes them, they will always be a trio. I’ll keep it short for now, but if you’re interested, feel free to ask another question in regards to the specifics about these two.
Hajun is the 6th member of Akanyatsura and is the final member of the Suisekigumi before its assassination two years prior. After running away from home due to being disgraced by his parents, he was picked up by Shingo Suiseki and Iori. His loyalty towards his new family is very strong, and he will do whatever it takes to protect them.
Anne is a bartender at the BAR 4/7. After struggling to get by after leaving their mother, they confided in Naoakira about their current hardships after Naoakira noticed Anne’s gradual fatigue in class. After discussions with Yohei, expressing his concerns, they take Anne in as one of their own. Teaching them how to be a proper bartender. They become a person of comfort to the fragile hearted Shiki, and someone to play pranks with for the hyperactive Ryu. They are very grateful towards Naoakira and Yohei, and will do whatever they can to express that gratitude.

I wanted to ask how would Nayuta's "death" play out in this situation? Does it happen at all? Is Allen there with Kanata when he finds his brother's body? Is he aware of the illusion until the final battle of the first tournament?

Very good question! This is something I’ve actually thought about a bit. I’ve thought about the possible outcomes whether Nayuta went through with his choice that might or not.
With having Allen by their side to help with cozmez’s financial struggles, I feel like it would take a some of the burden off of Nayuta’s shoulders of feeling like he has to do something to help Kanata out. Perhaps he would’ve listened to Shiki this time and would’ve stopped partaking in Phantometal experimentations when symptoms started getting worse…it would also mean Shiki wouldn’t have to witness such a heart wrenching sight either ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ
As for if he did go through with his choice that day, I don’t think Allen would’ve been there when Kanata found his body. Mainly to stick to the original storyline (we’ve long departed from it at this rate LOL). Allen must’ve been away working to get a little more cash. Of course Kanata wouldn’t say anything, he wouldn’t even say it to himself, total denial mode. If he couldn’t accept his death, what makes him think Allen would? By the time he got home, the illusion was already there. He couldn’t explain it, but something felt off the way “Nayuta” stared at him, and simply told him to go to sleep. The usual warmth wasn’t there, but he figured it had been a long day.
Now for the final battle with IlluNayu vanishing, both Allen and Kanata are exposed to the truth. Too many emotions are swirling at once, was Kanata hiding this from him? From everyone? Nayuta was suddenly gone before his very eyes? He wasn’t sure what to think, but one emotion stood above the rest. Pure grief.
Both of them had isolated in their own ways after their arguments. Allen was trying to bring Kanata out to help him out of his deteriorating state, but Kanata refused. It spiraled into arguments that stung each time. Allen saying he lost someone that day too, but had to keep living for his sake. Kanata snapped back, calling him insensitive, and that he’d never understand what it’s like to lose someone so valuable as a twin brother, family. Cozmez was only cozmez with Nayuta. They had started as two after all. It was words he regretted immediately, but the wound those words left was deep. Allen gave up his case to argue, and left without another word. Kanata was truly alone now, it was a world he mess unable to fathom.
He really lost all of his family now.
Allen spent his time with his two friends, a discarded heir, now Yakuza, and the new, fashionable bartender in a cozy part of town. Some of the only people outside or Kanata and a Nayuta who understood him. He spent most of his time just pouring his feelings out. They comforted him in his time of need, understanding how fragile he must be. Who wouldn’t be after such a realization? Pure grief was putting it lightly. They were grateful someone as reclusive as Allen was willing to open up to them.
Still…it wasn’t cozmez. That’s where his loyalties would always lie. Something was calling him to leave, to go to the place where Nayuta made his final choice. When something told him to run, he did. He ran as fast as he could to that rooftop, not wasting another second. When he finally reached it, he thought he was dreaming.
Was that him? Was that really Nayuta?
The moment Nayuta turned to look at him again, that warmth had returned to his eyes. a Warmth he never thought he’d ever see again. It was an emotional reunion for the three (four including Shiki), of course. Tears, wails of relief and pain, the tightest hugs…maybe they could pick up the pieces of their life again, and start fresh.
Kanata and Allen were a little strained for some time, still feeling hurt by each other’s words. It was something the two talked about a lot. Kanata felt immense guilt for what he said, and Allen felt the same. Cozmez may have started as two, but it was Allen who made them whole. Cozmez would never be cozmez if one was ever left behind. They all needed each other to survive. It was something that both Kanata and Allen, in their grief, were blinded to. it would take time for them to heal, and to repair what has been broken, but they’d get through it, they always did.
In the present, the three have grown closer than ever, but also more willing to be more open with each other and others around them. Allen and Kanata had also grown closer emotionally, especially after what happened. Emotions would always be a high hurdle to jump over, but being able to understand each other more and learning how to support one another properly helped them mature as people. It was something Nayuta was grateful for too, watching some of the closest people in his life grow closer, even after hardship. They were cozmez after all, they’d get through anything.
That feeling when you come home after years to continue the toxic situationship you had with your butler who now cares for your younger brother

After running away from home, Allen realized how large the world felt now that he was on his own. He had nobody to rely on. Once a sheltered child who was expected to only be the best, now a boy with nothing but the clothes on his back and no name to give him privilege.
He spent his days barely getting shady jobs and staying at motels as he tries to figure his life out, wondering what the next step was—if there was a next step. After hearing cozmez’s music while walking through the streets, it made him remember the passion he once had. After spending so long just trying to survive, he forgot about his personal desires, and why he left in the first place; he wasn’t able to be himself at home, he had to escape if he wanted to be who he wanted to be.
cozmez initially showed little interest in him, especially after he pestered them with so many questions…even after they chased him off, their questions and his passion stuck with them. It was only when cozmez got into a fight and Allen recklessly intervened and got messed up in the process, did cozmez finally give him a chance to hear him out after getting beat up for their sake…only for Allen to go silent after constantly berating them with questions.
The two sides are initially a bit standoffish at first, all of them are a bunch of awkward teenagers with terrible social skills for their own reasons. Eventually, the three form a little alliance. They help exchange their knowledge of hiphop, but with the shared money, they’d all be able to get slightly better food. (It’s still just Raimentei LOL)
As Allen lives with the two brothers, he realizes how much he used to take for granted. He sees how cozmez is amazed by simple things like a microwave, something that was just a regular part of life meant so much to these two. They really came from two different worlds. Cozmez’s perspective begins to shift as well, although their disdain for the upperclass is still very much there, Allen’s company helps them realize that despite his origins, anyone could end up in a similar place as they were. The animosity also begins to rub off on Allen, and how the upper class takes advantage of others, caring not the effects, even if it’s their own children. This frustration from his past is what fuels his music.
