Questions about Vash’s Last Run
A thing I keep thinking about is.. what would Vash’s Last Run look like?
Knives essentially became the now fertile land around the JuLai crater filled with water and the plants/flora around it.
But what about Vash? I understand that the twins are basically opposites of each other, both symbolically and literally. Knives of creation, Vash of destruction. Knives created his.. knives out of metal (?) and didn’t need any water or food consumption to live, his body likely creating the sustenance or sustaining naturally by itself while Vash was much like a human. Except that his power was to take away, to destroy. His Gate? Arm? was basically a black hole from what I got from Stampgaze.
In the end of Stampede, he ended up destroying JuLai and Knives with the unstable cube of.. condensed molecular state of his Gate (or something, I really with we got more explanation about Plants ;v;). So despite it not really being Vash himself, he kinda became bomb/a black hole.
Knives’ Last Run was a result to a bigger creation of a Plant that created. Would Vash’s Last Run be a bigger destruction? A bigger explosion? A literal black hole? Or maybe something prettier, a supernova?
With how he seemed to put all his Plant energy into creating the black hole gate or whatever- to supposedly consume both himself and Knives (to live on the other side, he says, but that definitely would’ve ended them both, right? 😭), I’d assume he wouldn’t have had much energy for such a grand Last Run as Knives still had mostly blonde hair even after he lost his Plant-merged form?
I don’t really know how that worked and I did find Vash blackening his hair fully a bit stupid, but I think I can understand his intentions, so I can’t really blame him ;v;
But tossing that aside, what do you think? Any ideas or headcanons? I’m eager to hear your guys’ opinions 🙏
