"... You know... I wasn't sure a red face plate could look good on anyone. Surprisingly, it looks really good on you, whoever you are."
Tracks isn’t sure what to do with the compliment before snorting a little, shaking his helm. “Thank you… I guess. What do you want?”
Sunny often said what others would not. He was watching what he was saying though, not wishing to brutally hurt the other and make him despise him. What he’d said would either be enough to make a difference, or it wouldn’t. He would eventually lose pity for the mech though, should he not take the chance to help himself after obviously receiving various advice from other’s before.
“As much as it hurts, you may have to. Those who won’t help themselves cannot be helped by others.” He says softly. A bone deep sigh leaves him, and he shakes his helm as he leans back. “Sometimes it is easiest to spill our darkest pains to a stranger than to someone we know. With a stranger, you don’t have that sort of knowledge of what they’ll think, and they won’t know you enough to judge you upon it. I don’t mind that you have spilled. I certainly didn’t expect it, but i don’t mind it.”
He slips his hand back to tap at his own cheek, and hums quietly. “A mask is a powerful thing. If you believe in it enough, you become it.” He says cryptically.
“I understand,” Tracks muttered, giving a nod to the golden mech before him. “I love Blaster with all my spark and the thought of losing him hurts so much … But, I have already decided I would not continue to try. Well, I did, but was convinced to continue to try. I am not sure what happens now, but …. I hope it becomes something good.”
Tracks didn’t really know what he was to believe. Gently dabbing at his optics, he managed to not spill coolant again, leaning against the chair to sip at his energon once more. “As a new friend, you still should not be exposed to my own personal affairs. I apologize, Sunstreaker, but I do appreciate you listening.”
He didn’t say much more as he listened, though did nod slightly. “I can hope for the best.” The chances of it being for the best isn’t likely though, at least not in his mind. But he would hope for the other’s sake.
Leaning back in his own seat, Sunstreaker offered a quiet shrug. “It’s alright. I don’t mind listening if you ever need to speak. Sometimes you need a different voice to speak out amongst the masses. Your apology is accepted, but not necessary.”
