Sonic’s ear flicks as her hears the sounds of… something opening maybe?

Turning his head around, he sees the someone falling, which immediately catches his attention.

He quickly rushes there and catches the tenrec in his arms.

“Gah- You okay there?” He asked, raising a brow and a smile on his face.

*the tenrec looks quite disturbed*

"..Hi..? Thank you for catching me."

*she hops out of Sonic's arms and turns to face him*

"Thank you again, where am I?"

“Uh, Emerald Hill…” Sonic places his hands on his hips and looks around, before diverting his gaze back to the girl. “Who are you again? And why’d you come out of that weird portal-thing?”

"Oh, uh, I am Gold and I was sucked into the portal.. I think..?"

*She looks up at the sky before looking back and the hedgehog*

"...Who are you?"

He grins and reaches a hand out to her. “I’m Sonic The Hedgehog! Or just Sonic… nice to meet ya!”
