୨ৎ Hiii,, I’m Lynette and I like to post fandom content! I mostly do sbg, bsd, and Gachiakuta but sometimes I’ll post small things on other content! (Kny, pmmm, Pokemon, more & more)

ᛝ I got by it/they, I’m a ace lesbian, and I’m taken! I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, and playing video games mostly.

୨ৎ My favorite characters from each series is Logan Feilds, Kyouka Izumi, and Riyo Reaper! I am also a Riyo yumeshipper but I don’t post a lot of content about it; so if it’s not your cup of tea, it’s not here often!

I can’t decide whether I prefer masc or fem Taylor 🤔🤔

On one hand, I could see Taylor being the type to reject femininity at a young age because of everything and trying to be more boyish to see stronger, but growing to enjoy dressing cute when she joins high school and becoming an active feminist. But also not coquette Taylor like what’s popular, but whimsy Taylor who dresses childish and in fun colors.

On the other hand, masc Taylor is just more canon seeming, I guess. She dresses in shorts, pants, overall, etc., so she’s not exactly portrayed as super feminine—which isn’t a bad thing. Masc Taylor is cute by all means and can definitely be suiting but also I just don’t know…

One thing I firmly believe about her style though is that it is all thrifted. I think her and Ty started off thrifting for clothes as they got older because it was easier and more affordable, it as time goes on, Taylor comes to actually enjoy it. I 100% see Taylor as an activist and someone who cares for her community so I definitely see her as a die hard thrifter.

Hmmm this is really interesting to hear because i’ve always seen Taylor as pretty feminine presenting. But maybe thats because I look at the whole her (hair, eyes, etc) instead of just clothes because for me fem, masc and androgynous would change what gender people see you as (although masc women and fem men tend to still have that quality in their appearance that their gender has).

But now that I look at pictures of her you’ve got a point. (Also, since her and her twin have to compromise since they match a lot I can see how they would wear androgynous clothing.) I think what made me think of Taylor as feminine was that the cut of her clothes seemed to be for woman yk? It can also be a different time different styles thing as sbg takes place in 2016 (or 2006?? I forgot)

In the first pic Tay wears a dress, although you can argue shes allowed to fem it up for a fancy event. And just because Ash is wearing a suit doesnt mean it decides both their roles as the fem (tay) and masc (ash) (thats hella gay but IGNORE) Ashlyn could have just been uncomfortable in tight dresses (sensory issue?) and tay could have gotten that dress from her mom and wanted to use it.

In the second she just looks like a 11 year old boy, there is no excuse. That exact outfit is a lesbian stereotype/j.

Third? Also a lesbian stereotype. But also overalls can be seen as whimsy and feminine and masc (androgynous?) so its up to interpretation

Idk if theres an exact point to this (I js wanted to help), maybe that gender expression is fluid and you can do whatever thr hell you want :3 like fem whimsy taylor, and then tyler is in the back looking in horror because they have to match/j

Young Ashlyn being that one kid that was particularly fond of those weird stories teachers used to read. A bad case of the stripes, the spider and the fly, the girl with the green ribbon, etc,.

They are very much conventionally attractive and it’s okay to have a crush on a cute, well written fictional character, so stop acting like it’s just a you thing.

Honestly, and this goes beyond just this fandom. People think they’re so special for liking a character when it’s very clear they are popular. No one is going to judge you 🫩 in fact, people will agree 99% of the time. Yes, the brooding character with long hair that everyone headcanons as gay is attractive and your favorite, we get it.

so i don’t know how other people feel about daniel clark but i personally don’t like him still. sure, he’s funny sometimes, silly sometimes, kinda a ditz. does that hide the neglect towards aiden? does it hide the fact that he forced aiden into his image as a child? does it hide the fact that aiden was genuinely pushed under the rug? i don’t think it does. daniel is an objectively bad parent. just because he defends aiden sometimes or is there for him sometimes it doesn’t make up for when he is not. i suppose most of this is my opinion so i’d love to hear your guys opinions on this! but i just feel like we are getting this wrong guys he is literally kind of a monster? and i do think he is a moneyholic (maybe not as much as jessica), maybe a workaholic more so. but one thing is that is don’t think that he is irredeemable. but he is not there yet. also i see people frame him as the better parent out of the two but aren’t they the same? they both do the same things to aiden.

His dad is a prime example of how rich people can be two faced. He’s obviously a smart businessman so it’s no surprise he has this persona where he acts nicer than he actually is in front of new people or people friends with his son. He’s likely closed off at home, more so focused on work so to say he’s baby coded is just ridiculous—he’s a grown man with a family and a business. The only reason he really looked silly anyways was because he was panicked and in a new environment 💀 they were fighting for their lives, of course he was scared and acting like that: it’s to make oneself feel better.

Both him and Aiden’s mom (Jessica) are bad parents and people trying to defend them is honestly ridiculous. Neglect IS child abuse and they’ve never made amends either. They aren’t good people, just another rich couple trying to get their son to be like them like everyone else.

thinking about Ashlyn being picked on as a child for being strange and quiet...

has she ever gotten her ear defenders / earplugs taken away by the other kids?

all the times her parents tried to solve the issue by both talking to the principal about the bullying and trying to socialize Ashlyn more (both of which hardly succeeded)

the way she watched her classmates interact, trying to understand what it is that they have that she doesn't. Trying so hard to fit in, and failing every time, the effort proving itself to be futile.

Taylor starts wanting to dress in one style but since her and Tyler dress the same, she can’t. But then one day Tyler shows up in a ‘performative male’ outfit and tells her to match with him. She gets so excited and they have a fun outing day together,,

I refuse to believe that Barron won't be somehow relevant to the plot in s3.

Come on, no way he was there just to play the role of a bully to beat up so Logan could get his character development and the kids could realize the influence the phantom dimension has on them. He was literally RIGHT THERE in the hallway with them less than a minute before the kids got kidnapped. Surely he and his friends noticed some weird individuals dressed in black coming into the room where Mr Thomas and the kids were, or at least heard the commotion?

And even if not, he'll realize that he was the last person that saw the gang and the teacher before they all went missing. Don't tell me you give a side character that kind of knowledge and then not let him do anything with it?

That guy might've not been doing his homework himself, but it'd be naive not to acknowledge that he is smart, at least people-smart, if the way he emotionally manipulated people into doing things for him is anything to go by, and I sincerely believe that he WOULD start suspecting something and might also have the audacity to go around looking for clues.

I don't know how or where or what he would have to do to get entangled in the whole mess, but I just really don't think he will be entirely forgotten...

Similarly to why I think Shane (Ben's bully) is going to reappear somewhere at one point. He was name-dropped AND has an easily recognizable hair style & colour, I refuse to believe that Red designed and named a character for the sole purpose of being mentioned one time during a backstory reveal.

I hope Barron and Shane don’t get forgiven even if they try to change tbh. I hope Logan and Ben don’t feel obligated to accept their apologies if they show up to help or something. I want them to hold a bitter resentment against those assholes…. But yes, I also would like for them to show up again! I think they have a lot of plot potential.
