I don’t like people with super white teeth like why do you have a porcelain mouth. All my bitches got a dingy coffee/tea/smoke stained smile from enjoying the many dependencies of life.
What kind of bugs are these
thank you to trans people who make weird and bad music
Another one of my AU Solluxes. I love him very much. Also I almost never draw full-bodies so it's a motherfucking miracle I was able to finish this.
Here's an alt version showing off his boxers and socks 🙏💙
you've gotta be kind to yourself no matter what
this is twice as true in the winter
the world isn't ending and you don't need to kill yourself it's literally december. it's december. and you need to be nice to yourself.
really hate this weird rhetorical trick where when you complain about fatphobia, thin people start talking about their body image issues. not what i was talking about. but while we're on it, eating disorders are disproportionately considered a thin people issue and fat people are, like with most medical issues, ignored on this subject.
i don't really care about your personal history with body image issues when the subject is fat people being categorically excluded from major facets of society. i was talking about being annoyed with the underrepresentation of fat people in art. why are we talking about your body image issues.
This kind of faux-sensitivity irritates me so much. Eating disorders afflict people of all sizes, but you can't advocate for any people with eating disorders without a clear picture of fatphobia. Eating disorders are as complex as eating, but personal relationships with eating and food are informed by social attitudes. That means profound fatphobia. Thin people occupy a different position from fat people in a fatphobic society, true. Thin people may experience different forms of social pressure around self-loathing and disordered eating, true. Thin people do not escape the pervasive body loathing that promotes eating disorders, true. An eating disorder is not a privilege, true. But thin people are not a special class in this context. They don't require special sensitivity. Thin people have body image issues because of fatphobia. Thin people develop eating disorders because of fatphobia. Thin people with eating disorders are neglected and revictimized because of fatphobia. People with eating disorders often are not perceived as engaging in self-destructive or dangerous (or painful or debilitating) behavior because fatphobia considers all of the above preferable to being fat. Fatphobia is the reason the response to eating disorders is perverse. There's no socially acceptable relationship with your body that is not somewhat aligned with fatphobic eating-disordered patterns. You're encouraged to limit your recovery because you might slide too far into self-acceptance and become fat.
As you point out, dangerous and painful strategies are not only encouraged but mandated for fat people. Treatment and recovery are often not accessible to fat people. Even the category "eating disorder sufferer" is off-limits to fat people, since there is complete overlap between "what fat people must do to to become healthy" and "develop a severe eating disorder." But I don't think it's even necessary to point to that disparity to rebut this idea that there are thin invisible victims of fatphobia who must be specially acknowledged. When you argue that thin people also suffer, you concede that fatphobia is so pervasive and severe that it harms them also. Foregrounding fatphobia, fat oppression, and fat liberation doesn't erase their suffering. Deemphasizing fatphobia does. Separating their obsessive self-loathing from fatphobia does. It's also insensitive to people with eating disorders to define thinness as an organic trait among people who are starving themselves out of an obsessive desire to be thin. You're not promoting eating disorder awareness when you treat thinness as a natural default or even sustainable state. Lots of thin people with eating disorders are fat people.
"gender is a social construct": fairly easy for leftists to understand
"race is a social construct": a bit harder to swallow for some but still reasonable
"mental illness is a social construct": this one gets you hate mail in your inbox
Patricia Taxxon didn't deserve the treatment she got, and the people who participated in her harassment are monsters. She is a lovely person but yall just cant see a tgirl being happy

Fat people can be buff hello???
do you think perhaps that a society that hates fat people for their fatness might prioritize certain fat people over others constantly and unbearingly to the point it gets really fucking annoying
there's a wide gulf of difference between me and a powerlifter with a lot of fat on his body, which is that people understand and can excuse the presence of fat on a powerlifter. my fatness serves no greater societally approved productive function. fat people who are also buff are like, the respectable, easy to swallow exemplary fat people that people use to prove that some fatties are good actually.
everyone in the notes rushing to explain and defend athletes who are fat: thank you for proving my point, fat people who are in some way athletic get preferential treatment from you over people like me, who doesn't have an excuse to be fat. jesus fucking christ
