(I do love a cuddling hc. is it only me that finds it kind of ironic that you requested oikawa and ushijima? Sjfksn sorry, these jokes and memes will always stick with me - anyway, I’m sorry that they’re shorter than hcs I’ve done before because I’ve done both characters in one post - and kind of struggled with Ushijima - but I hope you enjoy anon!)
He likes holding you and having you really close to him - he needs reassurance that you’re there
But since he’s usually watching some documentary or volleyball match, he’d probably have your head in his lap so that you can watch also if you want to, and he can play with your hair absentmindedly while watching.
He likes just having you there whether you’re both led in bed together/on the sofa holding each other as close as possible or with your head on his lap.
He would like to talk conspiracies with you when cuddling, mainly aliens of course.
He would also explain to you the volleyball video he was watching.
Some days he definitely prefers to just be held by you. It can all be overwhelming.
Don’t want to bring up sad memories, but when they lost against Karasuno he just collapsed onto the floor as soon as he got home - and you deciding to stay with him for the night - dropped to the floor beside him and just held him for as long as he needed

He’s not really used to the whole emotion thing so he’d only really cuddle if you wanted to and would have to kinda follow your lead
He’s m u s c u l a r and would most likely just lie on his back and let you lie or lean on him however you want and move his hands so that one held you close and one would play with your hair
The first like fifty times you try and cuddle him just move his arms around you as you want and keep telling him not act so s t i f f
Once he gets used to the cuddling aspect of relationships, he’d really love it
Would treat you like b a b y
He’d like cradle your body close to his and give you all the forehead kisses.
Tuck your head into his neck and he’ll keep a hand on the back of your head to run his hands through your hair and the other would rub soothing circles on your back or side.
With hectic volleyball schedules and training it would be very relaxing for him, even if he was stiff at first because he wanted to make sure you were comfortable
He would also enjoy the feeling of you running your hands through his hair
If you’re up to it he would probably like just listening to your voice when you cuddle
Like just tell him about your day or anything as you embrace each other and he’ll listen intently
If you wanna cuddle when you’re tired you would be able to persuade him to hum and maybe even sing for you as you drift off in his arms because he has a deep & soothing voice™️
