When I saw this moment I was face palming and said to my self "please don't let this movie turn into a "girl power" crap" And I'm a woman and I don't like that cause it never turns out good and it makes the male characters look bad. I hope to god Tad 4 doesn't go down that rout.

First of all, GYAT. Second, this is a valid point. Girl power in film and other media is not bad on its own, but if it ends up losing the charm of the original character, that is a problem. For example, I was so underwhelmed with how Peach was depicted in Illumination's Super Mario movie. They sacrificed her cutesy inflection for an uninspiring alto voice. Most of her original personality has been washed away to make room for the most generic girlboss portrayal you've ever seen. She may have had her girlboss moments in previous games (a LOT actually), but the Illumination version is just beyond unnatural.

I have not watched Tad yet (though I would love to someday), but even 'girlboss' characters should have their flaws and imperfections intact, just like the male leads.
