if your animal is lying on the floor, furniture etc, it’s important to take a picture of them. then, if they move or shift in any way, it’s important to take another picture. with this technique, you can take many pictures of your animal

mom called me a fag yesterday by accident
she was going to call me a bitch (playful) and i saw her gears turning like no but he's trans i need to call him the male equivalent. and then say fag and look so so surprised at the word that came out of her own mouth. it was like watching someone fail a disco elysium skill check irl
AUTHORITY - One of your sons is being annoying to the other. Make it clear that you think this is unfair.
YOU - "Stop being a b--"
REACTION SPEED [Challenging: Success] - Wait a minute.
DRAMA - Sire, the word you're about to use is historically feminine! Applying it to your transgender child is tantamount to misgendering him.
1. [Suggestion - Legendary 14] Think of a masculine equivalent to "bitch."

As a Greek, in response to the current controversy about Matt Damon being cast as Odysseus, I'd just like to share that one of the moments that changed my brain chemistry as a kid was reading a novelized version of the Odyssey and coming across the following description of Odysseus when Circe sees him for the first time and thinks he's hot: "his hair curled like a clematis and his eyes were very brown".
So may I present my own casting choice for Odysseus:
Excuse me???
you are right and you should say it.
Is this the face of a man who would put his own infant in front of a plow to avoid going to war?
Absolutely not
You know who would try that shit?
Is this the face of a man who would defy the very gods to get home to his wife?
You know who would defy the gods just to show he could get away with it?

Today is fibromyalgia awareness day! Fibromyalgia is a Central Sensitization Syndrome, which means the central nervous system is affected. The response to every stimuli is pain. The brain fires pain signals at the slightest disturbance leading to widespread chronic pain.
There's hyperalgesia which means abnormally increased pain as a response to things that should only give mild discomfort
There's allodynia which means pain as a response to touch, or things that shouldn't normally cause pain. Like brushing your arm against something, touch, massaging, etc.
The body's threshold for stimulus is also reduced, since the nervous system is really sensitive. This leads to people getting overestimulated really quickly because we can handle very less stimuli compared to the average person. Which also leads to sensitivity with loud noises, textures, scents, and other sensory issues. Everything counts as a stimuli, and everything drains us. Pain costs energy.
Fibromyalgia is an invisible disability, but it is still a disability. And i just hope that educating people about it would help in increasing accomodations and understanding about this disorder and the people suffering from it.
Spread awareness today, and reach out to your friends and family if they suffer from chronic pain/fibromyalgia and take care of them <3
