Hey there, lurker!

You've come across my humble little corner where I post my art (every 2 years /s). One of the corners technically, there's more of them!

So, about me! I'm goSciu (you can just say goS for short) and I'm a hobbyist artist alongside a few other interests. Among them is gaming, so there is a big chance that one of my drawings is gonna be some fanart, but I do hope to incorporate some OCs every now and then. I particularly enjoy drawing Puyo Puyo and Splatoon (+ more Nintendo titles).

Day 21 - Friends #1 - Marjen (by @pinchface05)

Friends Week has begun! Time to show off some OCs by friends and people I look up to.

First day goes to Marjen, a character made by my friend Pinch. She's a free-spirited person born from a wealthy family who abandoned her origins and instead chose to live the street life instead, opposing any authority. Her hobby? Property damage.

Day 20 - Inventory

Tina sits around in her workshop most of the time, but when she goes out to the city, she always has her huge leather bag with her. What's in it? All the tools you'd ever need for emergency fixes. You never know if something breaks down!

Day 19 - Inspiration

When we create our own characters, we tend to mix and match features from many other existing characters to create something brand new and unique.

For Maia, the inspiration behind her is Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy. Platinum blonde hair covering right eye, blue eyes, uncovered shoulder... But unlike Rosalina, Maia prefers warm colors in her wardrobe.

Day 18 - Swap

Let's play a game! To be exact, a solo variant of a sport popular in most of my OCs' universe - Jewel Duel.

In Jewel Duels, players get an identical board of gems and their task is to swap adjacent gems to create matches - non-divided lines of 3 or more gems in the same colour - to earn power for magical spells which put opponent at a disadvantage by locking their gems in place.

Now look at this board. How many swaps leading to a match can you see?

Day 16 - Food

Group meals are an important part of what makes friends' meetings so great and our MJA trio also loves to eat out together. Problem is, picking the place to dine at is not easy. Jules and Maia always battle it out whether this time they're going to get burritos or sushi. Arz doesn't like arguements and believes a good pizzeria is the best (and safest) choice for everyone. Well, looks like it's gonna be another long fight for the place to eat at.

Day 15 - Meme

I'm back after Palette Week hiatus (its tough to do specific colors on paper, with limited pencils). For this prompt, I'm replacing Splat Tim with Melany! Splat Lany?

Day 8 - Past

As a child, Maia loved watching Jewel Duel competitions and leagues, dreaming of becoming a champion herself. Over the years, her priorities changed, but deep in her heart, a dream of going on a path to the peak still lives on

Day 7 - Personality

Our main trio are a group of people with vary different personalities. Maia, while always eager to go on adventures, seems to be a bit forgetful and chaotic, leading to many mishaps. She's a bit silly you could say. Jules tries to act as a leader, making sure everything goes right and he often has to put everyone back on path. This means he has to be uch more down to earth than others. Arz is a timid person, following the team a bit behind to make sure everything is safe before continuing. They're more careful and observe their surrounding more closely, making them a crucial member of the trio for scouting and safekeeping.

Day 6 - Symbol

Something that's very important in this main universum I'm creating are gemstones. There's a particular set of species that are known for their great power - in the past they've been used in everything - from craftsmanship, through science, up to warfare. Due to safety concerns in modern age, their use has been limited to use in a magical sport known as Jewel Dueling and decoration - everyone wears a tiny gem connected to their personality somewhere in their outfit of choice.

Day 5 - Relationships

It may be the end of Intro Week, but it doesn't mean I can't introduce more characters. In fact, there's someone missing from Maia and Jules's trio. And today is relationships themed, so let's complete this friend group. It's Arz (pronounced with German Z or Polish C sound)! They're a timid yet curious person, solving riddles standing on everyone's way and inspecting everything that doesn't seem right.

Day 4 - Redesign - Melany

I'm finishing Intro Week with my Splatoon 3 OC, Melany. Normally, she prefers to wear elegant Toni Kensa shirts and wield an Aerospray on the turf, but lately she's been into fighting with Splatanas and wearing tees. And every now and then, she changes her glasses to special contact lenses which can change her eye color (it's totally not me forgetting that colored pencils dont work on TippEx).
