What if, instead of bringing Leo home, he was sent to this timeline?

With resources low and tensions thin, how will finding a younger hurt Slider affect the weather worn turtles?

I want to reiterate the fact I think that Rise Leo and 2003 Mikey are eerily similar in a lot of ways. To those who write Leo as all silent and a shell of himself after krang- I respect you but here me out: he still is a flamboyant king with Issues ™️ and very much in denial/uses humor as a coping mechanism…kind of like 2003 Mikey, right?

My friend and I were discussing ToddlerMNT AU and I remembered how I had a fight with my classmate in primary school and we were so angry that we spat on each other. And... I feel like it really fits with the disaster twins dynamic. So... I made a thing.

A million years ago I doodled something for the Yellow Door Au in the Gioverse for @goodlucktai to show how LITTLE BABY gio is comparatively, and then kinda ran away with the idea that Gio is a little sounding board for all the lovey dovey language Neutral Mikey uses on him (N!Mikey learned his lesson with big Gio, and hes never being reserved about how much he cares about this kid again. He's going to CONSTANTLY say how much he adores and loves and treasures this precious baby angel, so that never again does a brother of his ever question how much Mikey loves them). And yellow door Gio, who has only just started to learn how much of a burden and bother and a brat he is, hasnt had the lesson that hes completely unwanted sink in quite yet. Theres still time. So hes absorbing all this warmth and affection from N!Mikey and turning it in his little hands and learning how it exists in his daily life now.

So, when N!Mikey asks what Gio should say when someone does something nice for him, the first time Gio thinks of is what N!Mikey is always saying to him.

(It's a critical hit for Raph, who's slowly learning how to be a big brother again. He messed up twice so far, with Leo and big Gio, but third times the charm! Hes gonna do right by this sweet little kid, and do right by Mikey by doing so)
