To be or not to be?

With every day I shrink and shrink, As the depression grows and grows, Until I can no longer think, And all my days are endless lows,

Until I don’t know who I am anymore, For darkness fills me to my rotten core, It’s shadows inside me, Pulling me apart with glee,

All these demons I can’t tame, I’m struggling just to stay sane, With their voices constantly filling my head, Urging me that I’m better off dead,

Their taunts grow louder and louder with the day, Until I don’t know where my thoughts end and theirs begin, For even in the rare moments they sleep, I can still feel their chills under my skin, And it’s too much, I’m not sure that I’ll live to be old and gray,

For I’m young, but I’ve lived too long, Seen too much, done too much wrong,

Too much, It’s too much, Too much pain, To stay sane, I’m losing my touch,

My reality is blurring, And I fear I’m beyond curing, I fear I’m going truly insane, And that soon only one thought will remain,

The ever question, to be or not to be? For these days a sad figure stares back at me in the mirror, But it’s not me, I can no longer see me? Only a shell of who I used to be,

One day it won’t be a question any longer,
