i do find the rules around clothes fascinating because of how made up it all is. we invented the idea of covering our bodies from the elements because we lack fur like other mammals and then made up all these rules around it and now people will unironically tell you "men cant wear skirts its unnatural" girl none of this is natural. we are born naked and made up the rest as we went along. hope this helps.

something that bothers me as a person with bipolar disorder/who has experienced psychosis is that you aren’t allowed to believe things outside of the acceptable cultural norm.

anyone else can believe in psychics or ghosts or horoscopes or anything else that can’t be proven by science and isn’t part of the accepted religion. yeah they’ll get made fun of, people will roll their eyes, think it’s stupid but they won’t care. it might even be endearing. the normal person is allowed to continue their lives. the crazy are told we’re having an episode.
