Personally I find this disgusting. Welcoming back a predator with open arms because you think they won’t do it again? Screw the people Sally hurt I guess, because she pinky promised not to do it again apparently.
And yes 20/21 is young but still most definitely old enough to know what you’re doing. This isn’t some silly one off mistake, it was grooming a minor over a significant period of time.

I dont think I have a wide enough reach, but I want to explain and spread the info further for anyone not in the know. The adults in this spaces have to hold people accountable for this shit and not repeat the mistakes the community made.
Sagutoyas was an animator who was in a romantic relationship with a 17 year old while being a adult. They were chased out of the wc animator community and the internet in 2023, and the whole thing is documented here, on twitter and on youtube - go look up the name if you want more information.
Right now, Sagutoyas has returned on bluesky, and, to the surprise of many, TennelleFlowers (a semi-former wc artist and one of the authors of a wc inspired book series Alliance Saga: Clouded Moon, as well as a prominent member of the kingdom hearts fandom (he created the "Riku is Gay" video)), Snapdragon (one of the co creators of the aformentioned book series) voiced their support for her return.
When people started spreading the news and information, the two of them stayed silent on social media, yet doubled down on their stance on their paid patreon server - and the rest you can see above.
Why does this matter?
Tennelle and Snap are still heavily intertwined within the warrior cats community, because the fanbase of the Clouded Moon is built directly by people who watched Tennelles videos about the world of the book. I'm speaking from the wc fan point of view, and we had many, many people over the years in the fanbase who took advantage of kids in the fanbase. Its an obvious statement, but we should not welcome back a known groomer in the fandom and space they caused harm in - we are not the one to forgive them or accept their non existent "change". Our responsibility is to call out people who do all that and who would allow such harm to happen again.
What can we do?
If you are a Clouded Moon fan - don't buy their books. Don't do fanart of the books characters. Stop supporting the series with money. Talk, again an again, about what the creators are currently doing.
If you are a Warrior Cats fan - don't let Tennelle and Snap and their supporters think they can get away with this. Dont harrass them, but keep mentioning their behaviour and talking.
If you are a Kingdom Hearts fan - now you know more about another member of your community!

My cat recently got diagnosed with a Thyroid problem (bad but he has medication now so he should be okay) and its making me think about how FEW actual illnesses and diseases the cats get in these books. Honestly they really should add more and have the cast have to deal with it I think it would open so many new interesting doors because really, how many people can actually name a disease in warrior cat that isn't a cold, or one of the -coughs.
Like you've got...the rats in the carrionplace I guess? Generic fevers? It's just a super underexplored part of the world is that there are in fact, other disease cats can get. The cats have so many herbs but genuinely so little to actually treat. Adding a few more would be a good way to add new stakes or intrigue around the medicine cat den if you actually get to be like "huh i wonder what they caught" instead of just "ah, greencough again"
I'm putting this under a cut as like, disease talk, but I wanna mention a few conditions I think would be interesting but i know not everyone wants to read about that kinda stuff
Like I mentioned before thyroids would make a very fun choice because its a slow killer, Hyperthyroid (what my cat has) causes weight loss despite intense appetite, anxiety and aggression, and hyperactivity. While it in itself won't kill the cat even untreated for potentially a few years, this adds up in a clan life. Especially the immense amount of eating.
Without proper vet care cats would be on their own to figure out how to reduce iodine in diets (riverclan is fucked) which could make some interesting diets of a cat with diagnosed hyperthyroid having to specially prepare their prey to remove certain organs to try and treat their condition. As a lot of plants can help reduce thyroid hormone it could also be a case of having to basically take a lot of medication regularly as well in herbs. It would be super interesting to see a cat trying to manage their condition.
Meanwhile Hypothyroids where one doesnt produce enough results in more lethargic cats with dry pelts and weight gain. While they likely wouldn't be getting daily herb intake, they are in fact going to be needing a lot more iodine (riverclan wins and everyone else loses) to help make up for it
Some dental stuff would also be interesting, these cats absolutely should be dealing with gingivitis and having to make their kits essentially brush their teeth. I can just imagine an apprentice thats been skipping dental hygiene (very important to be able to fight) and sulking in the medicine den as they have to keep a big pulp of ginger and sage in their mouths to help treat their onset gingivitis. Teeth are a big part of fighting, they should absolutely be paying more attention to dental health.
Give them allergies! cats can have allergies! have one apprentice allergic to literally everything but like two kinds of prey, neither of which are native to their home clan, shenanigans ensue of trying to barter with riverclan as a windclan cat for some fish because the apprentice is allergic to rabbits, and mice, and squirrels, and basically anything that has fur or feathers. You know that one story about a cast thats full on allergic to meat? I wanna see that cat in warriors.
Did you know cats can have acne, I think its funny as hell to imagine the cast of warriors with acne.
FIV and FeLV could 100% be a HUGE thing and I've even used it in my own aus, these are disease that literally spreads by biting. It's PERFECT for a clan health scare. Warrior cats geneva convention about purposefully putting cats with FIV into battle with instructions to bite as many enemy warriors as possible when, they already have like child soldiers and cults and stuff I think disease warfare is a natural fit
FIP is also an option, but honestly should not be added into the series even if all the "even the CATS have coronavirus" would be VERY funny it's just not going to end well I think, warriors gone woke.
These cats constantly get ticks and stuff, they have got to be getting diseases and stuff, parasites beyond that might be a bit much but honestly I wanna see jayfeather handle a tapeworm. I don't even know how they would do that, I just wanna see it. At least give me a case of Cytauxzoonosis
There is also arthritis, bulging eyes, SCC, anemia, jaundice, stud tail, horners syndrome, cyanosis, lockjaw, pythiosis, hyperesthesia (honestly shadowsight might actually have hyperesthesia), mange, mastitis, cryptococcosis-
As you can there are a lot of potential conditions these cats can be given and have to deal with. So it's so weird they use greencough as such a crutch, even compared to the other much more sparsely used coughs like kitten or yellow. So what I'm saying is they should give these cats the fucking plague, which apparently cats can catch, give them plague, give lionblaze the bubonic fucking plague you COWARDS
