Also, catch me on April 3rd at the Mohawk in Austin performing with my band Brownout as we attempt to interpret Black Sabbath classics as Brown Sabbath. Here's a little teaser video I put together featuring music from the forthcoming album, out this spring.
Here's a little remix I did awhile back of a song called "Chocolate" by my band Grupo Fantasma. Catch me on stage with them April 12th at The Belmont in Austin TX. We'll be performing our first album in its entirety!
Been putting in a lot of work lately, mostly behind the scenes, but also some on the scene work. Money Chicha, Grupo Fantasma and Brownout as well as the soon to be on the scene Brown Sabbath project. Tracks are mixed and the album should drop in the next couple of months. Also stay tuned for a Grupo Fantasma performance on the NPR syndicated show World Cafe and a Grupo Fantasma show of our entire first album in the original order. Finished a recent run of shows with Grupo Fantasma in Miami at CarnavalOnTheMile and in Tampa at Gasparilla Festival as well as successful Brownout hits at MOMs ball in NOLA and as Brown Sabbath at Brooklyn Bowl. Well be closing out the month of March with some shows in Colorado as well. You can stay update to all my bands goings on at our sites GrupoFantasma.com, MoneyChicha.tumblr.com and brownoutmusic.com Thanks to everyone who supports all of these projects!

Check out this cool video of my band Grupo Fantasma covering the Beatles Classic āBecauseā in Spanish live at the Belmont in New Years Eve. I mixed the audio and my good pal Johnny Ramirez at Aquifer Productions directed/filmed it. Enjoy!
Been a pretty hectic January so far. Played a sold out show on NYE with Grupo Fantasma which yielded a nice recording of the bands rendition of the Beatles Classic āBecause (Porque)ā which was filmed by Johnny Ramirez and which I mixed the audio for.
You can see the video here: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p8Iw916O1D8
Also this month we played another sold out show at Austinās Long Center which also yielded some nice photos courtesy of Jim Chapin and Suzanne Cordeira
In brownout news we began recording tracks for our upcoming Brown Sabbath album and played a packed show in the record room at Austinās swanky W hotel.
The band also made a trip down to Laredo TX (the homeland) to melt faces at the Jamboozie Festival.
All while continuing to develop new material for Money Chicha and rocking a super fun birthday show at Austinās legendary Continental Club. Looking forward to a vacation in Febraury!
Our next show will be on January 2nd at Spiderhouse Ballroom on 29th street as part of Free Week. Also, they put Gregās face on the flyer! Itās a free show and a great lineup and you should totally go. Info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1391225837792434/
Somehow I ended up on this flyer. Meh. But the show and lineup are gonna be awesome... And FREE!
Grupo Fantasma on NYE 2008...
Brownout had a great 2013, Let's take a look back at some of the awesomeness that transpired...
I made another slideshow (for Brownout this time)
2013 was another tremendous year for Grupo Fantasma, a year chock full of recording, performing, traveling and more! From collaborations to side projects and collaborations, it was hard to pick the Best of the Best, but here are some moments that seriously stuck out.
I made my first "Best of/Top Ten list/slideshow! This one features my band Grupo Fantasma and some of the highlights of a memorable year. I think I'm gonna do another one more specific to my year next. Stay tuned!
