- && “Yeah, I can relate to that” she said and sighed. The only difference was that her dear mother never got the chance to leave her abuser, instead she died at the hands of him. And that was the biggest heartbreak Lada had ever endured and will ever experience. “I have major respect for women who find their inner strength”
"when my step dad came into our lives, he made me realize that there are men out there who do care." and she was thankful for that. she was thankful that he became her dad and raised her to be who she was today. "for me, my daughter is my strength. she keeps me going every day."

“So, I’ve just burned the shit out of our lunch…I sincerely hope you like crispy fried chicken tikka masala.”
“But um…in all honestly - I kinda wanted dim sum, anyways. So I’m gonna go and get a shit load of it from my favorite place in Chinatown…Did you wanna come along?”
"how about i just cook some lunch for us instead?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. she didn't mind doing it. "it would save money too for me to make us some food."
( lee jieun, twenty eight, female, she/her, non blood sister, december 24thj ) Did anyone else just see HANA FAUST ? I hear for the FAUST family they can be a bit BLUNT & JEALOUS. But I also heard they can be KIND HEARTED & LOVING. If you dare, I hear they frequent FATES in their spare time when they aren’t being an CHEF/OWNER OF THE DRAGONFLY BAR & GRILL. Tread carefully or else you might be next on their list !

Flirt with my muse! See what gets them going!
@crimsxned
her trip to new york was an unexpected one. leaving a day or two after the whole theater fire. for hana, she just wanted a few days alone with no one to bug her. that was it. but what turned started as a few days turned into almost a week and a half. from getting snowed in at her apartment there to having to wait a day to fly home. it was exhausting. but not exhausting enough that she couldn't meet josie for lunch. "as much as i liked being in new york for a week and a half, getting snowed in wasn't what i was expecting there."
crimsxned:
open starter // location: anywhere tbh maybe a locker room, hell he could be in the wrong bathroom at a bar idc // your muse is just walking in on him with his pants down
❛ don’t… don’t fucking move a muscle. ❜
the last thing anastasia expected when walking into the ladies room was...this. almost instantly, she turned around. "not even looking. why though are you in the ladies room?"
crimsxned:
“trust me, i’ve dealt with my fair share of rude ass customers. so i can only offer you advice and comfort.” she said taking a sip of her drink before setting it back on the table. “three bottles while on vacation sounds good honestly. where are you thinking about for vacation?”
"i seriously do need to tell my boss not to even recommend people like that to me again." she couldn't deal with people like her current client. they most often than not, stressed her out. "I was thinking maybe either turkey or greece.:

- && “Not everyone” she said and shook her head. “Some women have been mistreated so horribly that they don’t know their own self worth. It can take them years to rebuild their shattered self esteem” she mused and nodded. She knew that due to how her mother had been treated during her last months on this earth.
what the woman said was true. those who had been mistreated.it would take years for them to regain their confidence and know their own worth. "before my birth dad left my mom, he treated her like crap. at least in the last year of their marriage." she spoke. when she was younger, she didn't know it. but now that she was much older, she did. and it ticked her off.
crimsonfaux:
“I know.” Oliver replied with an approving smile. He knew no matter how delicious his cake was he made for her was, nothing compared to her grandmother’s cake. Perhaps it was the extra care the elder woman put into it, or some secret ingredient he would have to badger her for later. “Oh sounds like I’m just in time.” He made double sure that the door was shut behind him, as he moved the gift from behind his back wrapped. He took a seat beside her, and placed the gift down gently. The extra fork taken as he took a bite of the cake with a nod of his head. After the swallow he added, “Someday I’m going to get her recipe perfected. I swear I taste a different ingredient each time. I’d love to go visit her, do you want to come with us when we go?”
"i knew you wouldn't be able to resist trying the cake she made." just like every other time hana would bring over food she made. there was just something about her grandmothers cooking that she loved. one of these days, she would get her grandmother to give her some lessons on how to cook better. "i could always ask her to teach you. that way you'd get to see how she makes it." she pointed out. at the mention of hana going with them to visit, she nodded her head. "fair warning, she's probably going to cook up food for us to eat too when we go see her."

Igor had been to operas, ballets, and plays. He hadn’t been to a musical in a long time. The last production he went to was to see Anastasia. He couldn’t say he loved them he just preferred something better like ballet. Those performances were better in his opinion. Before he went to grab his seat he wanted to head for the bar to grab some wine. He wanted a slight buzz so he placed an order and waited for his drink. As he was waiting he noticed a familiar face enjoying her time with someone.
“I was not expecting to run into you here. Good to see you.” Igor said, holding his wine in his hand.
when faith was younger, she would go to new york every year to see a musical or two. but over time, that had stopped. it was those times that she missed. especially since it was her step dad who took her to see them with her mom and siblings. "doctors get to have fun too." she joked. a small smile forming on her lips. "looking forward to seeing the musical?"
crimsxnbeau:
“Oh yeah?” raising brow about date part. Of course, a part of him was well aware that there was no way he could tell his sister how she could or couldn’t date. And taking in the outfit that she was wearing he couldn’t tell her what she could and couldn’t wear. She was a Faust after all, if anyone knew how to take care of themselves and had been trained to do so it was his sister. Still, that didn’t mean he liked it. “ I guess it’s a good thing you don’t have date, outer wise he and I would have to have a talk. Make sure they are suitable and all that.” he grinned flicking the butt of his cigarette out into the street. “Nervous for what? My whole two minutes on stage.” he shook his head . “ I’m more concerned about that sister of ours filming it then me actually getting up there. I’ll take this lose like a champ.”
"now i'm suddenly feeling lucky that i don't have a date tonight." the last thing she needed was anyone scaring off her date. or sitting them down for a talk. "two minutes is still a good amount of time on stage." she pointed out. anyone would be happy to have even just that amount of time in a musical. "she's not the only one you should worry about. i plan on taking pics of you while you're on stage. and maybe posting them on instagram."
crimsonfaux:
“I get it sometimes, but it’s not my thing. Especially right now, because I can’t see them.” Talking on the phone made moving from location to location easier, but it also made the conversation easier to overhear. “But it’s good to hear your voice.” He nodded idly to her next words about healthcare. “That’s true, so you’ve already met the deductible needed and they will cover the rest now?” He was also in a sense her boss when it came to the medic position. So he wanted to make sure there weren’t any more things that could prove to be difficult that he could assist with. “yeah, I just have to get used to sitting idle for awhile. Do you need to go through physical therapy?”
"it's not my thing either. texting is just lazy." that's what faith thought. talking on the phone was much better. but at the same time, she understood if texting was the only thing a person could do at the moment. "I have. and they will. so i don't have to worry money wise." that was the thing she loved about healthcare. them covering everything. it made things easier for faith in the long run. at the mention of physical therapy, it was something she hadn't thought it. "that i won't know until it gets closer to the date of taking the cast off my leg."
crimsonfaux:
“Oh I see.” The answer was curt, and he knew it as soon as it left his lips. Contrary to regular belief, Oliver as often pulled in many different directions, and there was only one of him. “You could always tug me aside at Sunday dinner. The kids are normally distracted by eating.” Sunday dinners was as old a tradition as any when it came to the Fausts. But, he supposed if Lucian wasn’t busy to check in on her that was good. That still didn’t exactly extinguish the envy that occasionally stirred in his being. The bit of envy drained into fury when he heard that the male had been lingering around in his territory none the less. “Don’t say another word. I’ll take care of it.” He nodded firmly, but found himself curious on the other prospect. “Unless, you want to be the one to take care of him for good. It could always be your initiation into the family legacy.”
"i've wanted to tell you what was going on. but everytime i tried, something came up. either that of the timing was never right."this was something she truly didn't want to keep from him. but over the past few months, trying to tell him about it became impossible almost. so much had happened in the past few months and hana herself didn't want to seem selfish or anything like that. she wasn't that type of person. she would always put her problems in the back and her siblings problems in the front. grabbing the bag she had with her, she pulled out the file she had on her previous foster dad. was it big? absolutely. she had been digging up dirt on him for the past few months. "this is pretty much everything i have on him. where he lives, his work place and all of that." at the mention of the last part, she shook her head. "i'll leave that to you. you should know by now i couldn't do something like that."
crimsonfaux:
Normally he was more prepared for the holidays, but there was no way 2020 allowed him the normal type of preparedness. “ A tiny house.” Oliver narrowed his gaze skeptically trying to imagine what Teddy would do with one. Though he knew about the other’s childhood home. “I don’t know if I want to invest in equity he could destroy.” He chuckled softly. “That’s not a bad idea though. You know last year he got a vacation. I can’t even remember when my last vacation from here was.” Was it his honeymoon? Shit he didn’t even think he got a vacation then either. “Oh no, I don’t really like giving money as gifts. I find that impersonal unless the person is in need of it. Maybe just getting him a paid vacation somewhere? I won’t find that here though. Maybe a nice new hoodie. Who do you have left to shop for?”
"he would probably destroy it within one night." she pointed out. though a small laugh escaped her lips at the thought of it. "you really do need a vacation. maybe to disney world with the kids? they would love that so much. especially matty." anyone would love going to disney world. that was everyones dream place to go to. "i say give him a week vacation in europe. or maybe australia." she suggested. at the mention of who she had left to shop for, she raised an eyebrow before looking over at him. "you. which brings me to that. pick out any cooking and bakeware set and i'll buy it. that's my gift for you."
igor-vasile:
“I enjoy those drinks sometimes. It’s nice.” He nodded at her question. “I am here alone. Maybe tonight I’ll meet with friends or my family. Who knows? I wanted to enjoy my night by myself and then find something different to do. I enjoy it.” He shrugged, reaching for his glass to take a sip. “It always confuses me when people say they’re uncomfortable being alone. I could never find discomfort.”
Igor looked over at the atmosphere. Americans drank and were loud, back home, he’d have repugnant people doing the same. Alcohol brought out the worst in people and he had a feeling if he would drink more tonight he’d be doing the same. He wasn’t an obnoxious drunk, maybe a bit more cheerful, but he had nights where he’d black out. Thankfully, growing up, he never got into fights from alcohol or did anything too extreme. He just would drink himself to the point where the next day he’d forget it all.
“What are your New Year resolutions? I am curious.” He asked.
it was stuff like this that ana was used too. every new years, seeing people act like that when drunk. was it annoying? yes, but she was used to it by now. as crazy as it sounded. when he asked her what her resoluation was, she was surprised. no one had ever asked her that. or even what goals she set in mind for herself. " crazy as it sounds, i don't have one. kind of pointless to set one to be honest."
