Tip to aspiring musicians out there, if your hands/lips get sore it is ok to keep going. But if anything hurts, stop immediately. You don’t want to end your career early because you were stubborn. We are athletes of small muscles. If it hurts a lot, that could mean serious damage. There’s nothing wrong with taking a day or two off. There’s plenty to study to become a better musician. Practice is necessary, but it isn’t everything, and definitely not worth ending your career.
