someone shared this and it made it pop up on my notifications. haven’t opened my book in years and so this was a strange blast from the past. i… kinda cooked here XD like i have that artist issue where i can’t stand the sight of my old work but i think i’m finally getting over that. also this is book depository was still around old XD

Reminiscing

Just thinking about one of my exes and how my breakup with him was handled by my two friend groups

My more conservative friends heard the two points of 1. He wanted me to lose weight and, 2. He wanted to sleep with other people, and were very understanding of the first one. They thought ah yes of course, he wanted you to be in shape and healthy and be someone he was attracted to. It was the second issue they had a problem with, thinking it was disgusting he wanted to sleep around and should be committing to one person.

Whereas my more left-leaning friends thought sure, there’s no issue if he wants to sleep with others. He’s just not monogamous, and if he wishes to have multiple partners there’s no problem, as long as his partners know and consent. It was the first one they had an issue with, saying he didn’t have the right to speak on my body weight and shouldn’t be policing and trying to control me. They said it wasn’t okay that he wasn’t okay with my weight.

And I was in the middle, of course, not liking either answer.

2 hours of sleep is sufficient right?

#especially when I had 8 hours combined the 2 nights previous?

Feeling the murderous urge to kill

Is anyone going to fucking answer me??? Really? When I need someone the most everyone fucking ghosts me?

I want to get laid

Person I know: I’m so depressed :(

Same person: reaches out to people when even the smallest bit sad, goes out regularly, feeds self, goes to gym, keeps up with friendships and family

Me: no I’m doing really good actually!

Also me: never reaches out to people, spends most free time in bed or rotting on the couch, eats even when not hungry, has emotions shoved so far down I can’t have sex without crying

Like we COULD be fucking but I had to get too attached

Shit I was already attached even before. Not “attached” but definitely had feelings. And now I have to keep working with them UGHHHHH

My brain is trying so hard to win and make this easier for me

But my god damn stupid heart and pussy have teamed up together, and even when I try to quell my heart with logic, my fucking genitals be bringing my heart back to their side

God I hope they just get hired elsewhere already

Wish my heart and my pussy weren’t intertwined like decade old vines on the side of a stone house
