Hey guys…. I…. Well, something pretty serious just happened and some stuff went down… If I seem off at all for the next few days or a lot or something, I’ll try to get offline. It’s just…. I’m sorry okay guys? I’m really worried about a friend of mine and I’m helping her through a lot of stuff and…. I’m sorry if I’m not as active as before
Ouch. I hope whatever it is resolves itself - and no need to be sorry. As Hans put it, real life drama always comes first. Hang in there. :)
Gothel made a show of looking deep in thought, cocking her head to one side. To give credit where it was due, she had received some quite surprising - especially given the limited resources at her disposal - presents from Rapunzel over the years, frequently involving hand-made crafts or art. Either of those seemed a likely guess, but she didn’t intend to disappoint Rapunzel by guessing right.
"Oh, you always manage to surprise me, dear. But I bet I’ll surprise you more!"
Rapunzel excitedly looked at her mother, and clasped her hands out in front of her as Gothel made her show of ‘guessing’. This year, Rapunzel spent her time using her cloth and such to make her mother a dress. Hopefully it would fit right- she hoped it would fit right.
"Oh I don’t know about that mother! It’s a good one this year!"
Gothel's eyebrows gave a little quirk, as if to say 'oh, really?'
She gave a beatific smile. "Well then, darling, I'm sure we'll see." Leaning forward, she gave Rapunzel's cheek an affectionate rub between forefinger and thumb. "Whatever it is, you've been keeping it very quiet!"

"Remember, darling, no peeking at your presents until Christmas morning!"
Rapunzel squealed slightly and clapped her hands together. “Oh don’t you worry Mother, I would never! That just ruins the surprise! But I bet you’ll never guess what I got you!”

"Isn’t it, darling?" agreed Gothel. With a yank of a lever, she opened up the shutters in the roof of the tower, allowing the sunlight to stream in.
"Smell that fresh air!" she added, walking over to Rapunzel. "The way it infuses itself through the house - delightful."
Rapunzel smiled happily at her mother and nodded in agreement. “Delightful as always. One of my favorite parts of the day!” she smiled at her mother, holding onto a piece of her hair. “I like when it’s nice outside, I just hate it when it rains.”
"Well," murmured Gothel, "it's not as if we'll get wet, hmm flower?"

Her: *wearing her Rapunzel dress* I need to go and find Flynn! Me: Why, where is he? Her: *sighing* Stuck in a tower. I have to go and rescue him. Her: *climbs onto rocking horse* Her: Again.
"Please rescue him, flower! He's been searching the place for crowns for two hours now!"
